Top class service and food was amazing. Not a bad word to say about the place

The hotel and grounds are modern and pretty. The room was big, clean and quiet. Bed was comfy. The breakfast was good and had great selection. The cedar restraunt was ok but but still enjoyabe. All the staff were friendly and helpfull. Enjoyed my stay here.

Stayed here for a weekend with my sister, bed and breakfast, one evening meal and one spa treatment each. The hotel itself is beautiful, however the extension to the original house really does not go, two very different styles. Rooms were standard hotel rooms. We asked for a twin room and while we got two single beds they were pushed together with little room to separated them, not ideal. Very clean, great view and clean bathroom. While my sister was having her spa treatment I decided to use the pool area, it was such a disappointment. For the size of the hotel the pool area is FAR too small, so small that we never got to use it the entire weekend we were there. Not only that but it felt dirty and there was a bad smell no matter where you went. The rooms for relaxing and or having a cup of tea were very dirty. These rooms have rattan garden furniture and there was dust caught in between all the grooves. The floor area under the chairs is obviously not cleaned as I sat in the same chair two days in a row and the same price of paper and dust under the chairs was still visible. We both had Swedish massages but our massages were different. The whole spa area needs extending to accommodate all guests (it’s not like they don’t have the room) as it is too small for the number of guests. It also needs a deep clean. The restaurant we were assigned was great, food was of very good quality and there was plenty of it. We also had afternoon tea on the Saturday and this was a lovely treat. I still don’t know why they couldn’t accommodate our booking for a half hour earlier as there were only 2 other people there when we arrived. This was my second visit to Farnham, would I return, probably not. The spa area needs a complete overhaul, extension and deep clean. It’s a lot of money to not be able to use all of the facilities.

Stayed here this werk and had a wonderful , relaxing experience. The room and bathroom were firstclass and the pool was a treat. We enjoyed it so much, we are coming back in 3 weeks. Great value for money and the staff are fantastic. A shout out to George, the driver who gave us some interesting history. One thing, the bar upstairs lacks character/atmosphere for eating. However this did not spoul our overall experience. Thanks to all.

We had the best time last week at farnham! We stayed in a lodge which was fabulous, clean and loads of space! The food was lovely too, we really enjoyed the burger and chowder. Every staff member we encountered were all so friendly and helpful so really wanted to give them a mention. Thanks farnham, we will be back 😀

Four friend and I visited the Farnham estate last week for an overnight stay and we had the best time . We had stayed before and it was very nice but everything was even better this time again. The facilities were great and the spa and pool were beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really welcomed us to the Farnham. We felt they went over and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay - and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more !

The hotel is lovely with beautiful rooms and surroundings. The staff are very well trained and polite and helpful. The golf course was long and very wet ( but most are after all the rain) and there's no toilet facilities at the halfway point. But the reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the food, so disappointing. The breakfast buffet was great but the evening meals were very poor. By all means have a small menu but it means you have to do it really well and all the meals were a let down, tasteless and underwhelming, such a shame.

I had the best 2 days at Farnham last week. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. It was my partners birthday and they had left a beautiful card and chocolates in the room for our arrival, it was so nice to see this. The spa and pool are fabulous, very relaxing and the food was amazing. Can not recommend this place highly enough. I look forward to my next visit.

Just checked out after the most fabulous 2 night stay in Farnham. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed so warmly, our room was fabulous and spotless. After a wait for some room-service on our first night, Farnham went above and beyond to make this up to us, offering us a most generous Sunday lunch yesterday which we so enjoyed. Superb customer service and a lovely gesture. Much appreciated. Highly recommend the estate walk, and of course the outdoor pool…we were blessed with the weather yesterday! We look forward to visiting again soon. 5 stars.
