Lovely hotel, attended a comedy show there. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and service was quick and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Would recommend!

I saw a four star rating for the Kylemore, so that was the place I chose to take a friend for lunch today. Roast of the day was a sirloin of beef so that was my choice. It arrived with a Yorkshire pudding, carrots, broccoli, a roast potatoe, mash potatoe and gravy. The beef was delicious, the mash, gravy and broccoli okay. The carrots were practically rock hard. One of them was big and I would have needed a saw to cut it, and the roast potatoe was not properly cooked. VERY DISAPPOINTED. It was just under €20, and for that price I was expecting the perfect roast dinner to be brought over to me. Not that. I have had carveries in the past that have been cheaper and better than what I got today. To charge the price that you did was unfair and wrong. I did have dessert and that was nice but today was first and the last time I will be visiting the Kylemore and next time I visit Cavan, I will look for places to get a better lunch

I attended my daughter's wedding on Saturday and I would like to thank all the staff for a brilliant day. The hotel has a warm, homely and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and polite. The food was EXCELLENT, and the return of seconds of steak was welcomed by some 😀 Thank you to everyone for making this special day a very enjoyable experience. Keep up the good work. Lorraine

I cannot rate this hotel high enough. The staff are amazing and a credit to this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Location was perfect. The grounds are lovely and plenty of parking. Breakfasts were tasty. Evening meals were a bit limited but also very nice, but some lovely restaurants close by also.

Late booking and arrival for overnight stay. Clean and comfortable, double room, ensuite shower room. Shampoo, soaps and shower caps supplied. No body lotion. Towel rail off. Radiator in bedroom roasting, temp guage at one side of the bed in room had a bright light shining during the night, which I found annoying. Tea/coffee making facilities in room, no biccys! Staff very friendly. Breakfast choices excellent. Nice coffee. Over-seasoned eggs royale, too much black pepper. Do not understand why Hotel Kilmore does not have a swimming pool? Overall pleasant, if expensive, stay for one person.

Hotel was very clean, rooms had fresh decor and comfortable beds, cleaned daily, however we were a couple and had family room ( 3 beds) tried to change but no other rooms available but this didn't inconvenience us. Bar area was a bit of a let down for myself personally as it was also the dining area, everyone was eating and I didn't really see anyone at the bar drinking , ( just not for me, to enjoy a pint and everyone eating around you). Few that were have drinks were in lobby area maybe felt same way as myself lol. Staff were friendly and polite. Rooms were away from function areas and quiet, I’d rate this hotel a solid 8/10, I’d definitely return.

We stayed here for one night to see David Mcsavage in the hotel our stay was perfect hotel is spotless clean, room was stunning and bathroom was even more amazing huge bath amazing shower bed was so comfy and lovely views of the inner courtyard !! They even left a happy birthday plate for my partner with some brownies so thoughtful will definitely be back staff were a delight.

We could not rate the Hotel Kilmore highly enough! There was never any doubt for us as to where we would have our wedding. The professional, personal, friendly service was second to none. The package provided was excellent. Our wedding coordinator Mary was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. All our questions, big or small, were answered quickly and nothing was too big of an ask. On the day, we really felt like the most important people in the world! Everything ran so smoothly, and all our guests and suppliers were looked after so well. The food was exceptional and there was plenty of it! The service provided by every member of staff was great from arrival through to 4:30am when I think our guests finally decided to go to bed 😂. We could not recommend the hotel enough to any wedding couple! Rachel and Seán Monaghan.
