A good location. Unfortunately, no TV in the rooms. One coffee pot available in lobby each morning, but no coffee once this single pot was empty. Warm/hot water intermittent in shower, cold 9 times out of 10. A shame.

Booked the Plaza Hotel as a budget option for our family trip (2 adults, 1 child). The room & common areas were clean and welcoming. AC worked great. Loved having thr balcony! No TV in rooms, but WiFi was good! Staff were all so friendly & helpful. Also great having coffee available in the mornings! The location is away from the main ***** so a bit quieter, but still walkable to lots of great restaurants, shops & the water!

The staff was great. The room was a bit noisy with the electrical plant right by the place.

Lovely clean hotel away from the hustle of the cafes and tourists. No elevator so if you’re on level 3 you’ll need to drag your suitcase up the stairs. Rooms are beautifully clean and I had a large king bed to myself. The towels were sweetly made into swans. Always like that personal touch. Bathroom is generous in size and the usual complementary toiletries. Air conditioner and fan work well and not noisy like some can be. There is a small fridge and safe in the room. Loved opening the door to my room to have the air conditioner and fan on which was appreciated due to the humidity. The fridge was also turned on so I could out my water bottles in there straight away. Wifi is as strong even though my room was the furthest from the modem. In the foyer, there is a filtered water jug for those wanting to top up their bottles. Plus tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave. A nice touch and not one I’ve seen so far on this trip. Only downside it so to reach the overhead lamps it’s a big stretch. Location is almost halfway between each side of the island. If you stand in the street out the front of the hotel you can almost see the beach at either end. 5 minute walk to ‘main *****’ of restaurants and bars. Finally, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Thank you.

To the Management of Plaza Hotel if you had any decency and integrity you would have solve the problem from the beginning but I see from your response and false narrative that you are playing the victims. First of all, I have a right to choose what time I want to leave the hotel before check out time. I was annoyed by your service and couldn't wait to see another day and go back home. That's how awful your service was. Fraudulent credit card???? Who are you referring to??? This is not how you treat your guess. I'm not going to entertain you. Your staff clearly needs a PR training. Not going back and forth with you. I can see from your response to the review how malicious you were to our stay there. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any one.

I stayed at Plaza Hotel May 12th to May 14th 2023, it was a Birthday surprise trip for my Daughter who turned 13 on the 12th of May. I can't exaggerate how awful our experience was. I had to book 2 rooms due the family size and capacity for room. I was the only parent/adult on this trip with kids ranging from 14-6 years old. The first Night was okay but to tell you where the horrible experience happened was on May 13th I am furious just writing this review. I had options for staying at a different hotel on May 13th but had decided that it would be a hassle moving the kids to another hotel so I booked another night stayed and payed for 2 more rooms at Plaza Hotel. I spoked with the receptionist before leaving the hotel for the day to ensure that the room the teenagers were staying in be cleaned for the day, she assured me that house keeping would be doing so. I arrived back from the beach after 2pm to pick up my key for my room to be told that a bath rag was missing from the teenagers room and I would be charged $3US from my account if not found. I was utterly shocked by all of this. The receptionist had the audacity to state that maybe one of the kids took it by mistake and it is common amongst the tourists to take towels and rags to the beach. I interrupted her right away and told her I packed the kids bags for the beach and my daughter and I were the last one to leave the hotel room. I had ensure to clean the kids room before heading to the beach, packed their bags and placed each under the table below the mirror on the wall. This receptionist continue to accuse the kids meanwhile I'm looking at her like you can't be serious. I told her the bath rag and hand towel were both near the safe where I left them because the table had to be cleaned. I'm still in shocked that she didn't even had the decency to solve the problem or use her common sense. I told the receptionist that I brought our own towels from home to take to the beach and I don't condone stealing she still went on and insist that the kids took it. I'm still in shock heading to the teenagers room to figure out what went wrong, so I'm in the room searching their bag no rags, so in our dirty clothes bag I found the hand towel, gave it to my son to give the receptionist she insisted that the hand towel wasn't looked by the maid that it was missing only the bath rag. Now my son came back to the room to tell me this, I'm still in the room retracing my steps trying to figure out why would I steal a bath rag that cause $1.50 bz when I paid $500 bz for my room then I realized that it was never about the bath rag it was to make a statement that we are placed in that category of thief and I got really pissed off. I went to receptionist and showed her the hand towel that I had found in my dirty clothes bag, this receptionist wasn't fazed at all she didn't care that the rag ended up in my dirty clothes bag, she only cared about accusing us of stealing a bath rag. I told her why would I s

Decent budget hotel and I have no complaints. Comfortable bed, hot water and a decent sized room. This is a small island so there is no bad location really. This hotel is bang opposite a supermarket and a great bakery is nearby too. Towels provided to take out for swims or boat trips.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice place to stay for a few nights in Caye Caulker. Good value, spacious rooms and central location. They also offer free water and coffee. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is travelling on a reasonable budget but doesn’t want to stay in a hostel.
