Best Hotels in Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba

Very good hotel, I loved it for the architecture and also for the beautiful beach, the only thing I didn't see was a lot of people, few customers for this time of year and also comment that the staff is very friendly and ready to give a good service and if you want you can be well sure that the animation guys are always very good and especially Yordany from sales who we were talking to several times and is attentive And he was always good at attending to the needs.

Just came back 2 days ago. Let’s start by saying this section of the resort was well kept, clean and convenient to navigate. The staff were very helpful and willing to make your stay peaceful. I liked that the beach was only steps away from room with an ocean view. The food was decent, some shortages on certain days but that’s to be expected so bring snacks! Room was clean, AC worked well and nice shower pressure as well. Tv had a bunch of stations to choose from. Wifi worked well in the room and main lobby the best*. Beach was the best part, clean and well maintained with a snack/drinks bar for your convenience. Breakfast had a good set up with a nice view in the mornings. Your choice to sit inside or on the balcony. I would go every morning to eat outside and be greeted by the friendly resort cats. There were also a recent kitten litter of about 7 kittens and their mom as well. Loved it! I only really had one concern and that was 2 days prior to leaving I’d go feed the cats at breakfast but they were gone?? I couldn’t get an answer from management. Couple other guests mentioned they took them away but left the mom. That’s bs! I’m back in Canada now still uneasy on what happened… that’s bad for business and makes me not want to return. I’m saying something if no one else wants to. HENSE the 3/5 rating. I know this is common in these counties not to treat animals the greatest and they have other issues going on but it was really mean for them to get rid of the kittens and leave the mom behind. There are always other options.
