Hampton Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids - North

I found this hotel to be very clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Our room was very quiet and spacious. This particular hotel did seem like it was more the choice of business persons though, as it is located in more of a business complex perhaps? That did not deter from our stay though.

Very average hotel, not to the standards of other Hamptons. The good - front desk person was friendly and helpful. The not so good - room A/C unit was very loud and vibrated, TV lost signal on some channels, rust in the bathroom, overall room just OK. We paid $230 including taxes and expect more from the brand. A little maintenance can go a long way.

I don't like it! First room was moldy smells! 2nd room was ower the lobby and too noisy from the people seeding in breakfast area until 2am!

Staff is nice clean convenient for me. Not managements problem but might want to think about keeping kids sports teams all by themselves . Didn’t care for the drive by knock on the door in the morning. Otherwise have stayed there before I like it. Thanks

Comfortable with easy access to food and friends.

Property was clean with plenty of parking and easy to locate. Breakfast was what one expects of a continental breakfast, coffee in the lobby was available 24/7 and staff was friendly. However, upon checking in my reservation couldn’t be found. I had confirmation number but apparently the wrong name, and address had been added to reservation. I verified correct information and assumed the record had been corrected. We were told there would be NO housekeeping. Room was clean, beds and pillows were comfy. A weird annoying noise like water running through pipes 24/7 in room. Checking out was easy, getting a receipt for my stay was not. I asked for a receipt three times and each time I was told ******* would give it to me. I looked at my reservation and it clearly states that property will give receipt. Called *******, they did email a receipt with just total cost, no other info, which by the way differed from what I paid. I needed a detailed receipt with property information and in my name so I sent them another request for a receipt. It took a couple of days for a response but I did get a receipt…with all the wrong information!!! I assumed it had been corrected at check in but it wasn’t. I sent another message asking for a corrected receipt and have yet to receive a reply or a receipt. Why is it so hard to get a proper receipt? Will not stay again.
