Nice unique style, different feelings. The hotel can book a car by appointment, and the location is excellent. A good choice for a vacation.

Enormous rooms, extremely comfortable beds and warm comfy duvet. Hot strong shower- new towels a bit challenging to get dry with but not a significant problem. Amazing central location and friendly, helpful staff. Our second visit.

This hotel was disappointing. We selected it on a Lonely Planet recommendation, its location & awards for design. Unfortunately fell below expectation. Much effort & money had gone into the interior design & reception areas were lovely. We had a suite & the bedroom was comfortable, lovely light fitting. There was an attached sitting room which felt austere, although the ceiling was beautiful. The bathroom fell well short of acceptable standards. Although money had been spent on fancy corner bath and brass fittings the heavy presence of mould in the shower and dirty toilet bowl rim made this room unpleasant to use. The sink taps dripped constantly. The shower door did not meet the shower panel and so the shower leaked onto the floor. In this 4* hotel there was no hand soap or even tea bags. We asked for some to be provided the next morning. We were surprised to return to our room later in the day to find that hand soap had been provided & was placed directly adjacent to a pile of soaking wet towels & a bathmat we had used to mop the flooded floor with. Our room was not serviced at all. We queried at reception & was advised that due to Covid restrictions no room servicing was occurring unless by special request. Very strange to reduce hygiene for Covid! We did not experience poor hygiene elsewhere in Slovenia in lower * cheaper hotels. I think the hotel owners have prioritised fancy frills over basic cleanliness & comfort. Positives - location & lovely reception staff.

I see on TripAdvisor that this hotel is now closed until April. I hope it is closed for renovations. It is very tired and threadbare. My towels literally had holes in them. It was not particularly clean (cobwebs in chandelier, spare pillow in closet was too filthy to use). Since I was traveling from the US I didn't bring a lot of liquids with me, assuming there would be body lotion in the room. No. The breakfast was very sp****. The people, however, were very nice. And when I asked for something they immediately provided it. The location is fantastic, so I hope that they renovate!

Bon rapport qualité prix, nous avons eu la chambre en Rez de chaussée qui était grande et rénovée mais sombre, et équipée d’un sanibroyeur .
Il y avait des travaux le matin vers 9h mais le bruit commençait plus tôt!
Le personnel a été sympa et à l’écoute de ces sujets.
