I really wanted to like this accommodation because of their story, but honestly too many basic things were wrong- it was very unclean, everything was run down & tired (particularly the sagging mattress), the broken shower head holder which meant you had to duck under it if you didn't want to hold it... It wasn't cheap so I wish now we had stayed at one of the other similar priced places. Great location otherwise.

"Great location, clean, tidy room, very friendly staff, reasonable price." Dogs are welcome. All important locations are nearby, the internet is fast, the TV works and has many channels, the bathroom is clean and spacious enough. Very nice

No customer service! Bed 12”off floor. Never in 50 yrs of travel have I seen such a low bed. Husband has leg issues but works best he can. Receptionist, Ennis, tried hard to help us and added an air mattress on top of the bed. We agreed to give it a try but husband ended night in chair. Horrible night, terribly uncomfortable. We always try to book at local hotels to support the economy but we were forced to move for the next 4 nights. We booked on line at no refund according to Manager and she refused refund for unused nights. No budging on ‘rule’. Also you need to know that this “Rooms” are only on second level of building shared with offices and apartments with a dark old dingy access stair, no elevator. Bedding and towels need updating as well. Price for area seems midrange but accommodations definitely on cheap side Would not recommend. Please note receptionist Ennis tried hard and was courteous.

The pillows are the LEAST fluffiest I've ever had. No joking btw. What we slept on can't be called a pillow and even the bed. As a hotel, you have only one job: providing a comfortable sleep and proper shower to your guest. And Gloria failed in both. Shower head was broken, the bed is hilariously uncomfortable and pillows are in the size of 'non-existence'. We stayed 9 nights and no cleaning is provided to the room during our stay. They have 'cleaning only once in two days' policy which is totally fine. But I suppose the cleaners only come in the early morning and if you are in the room, you miss your opportunity for the rest of your stay. It is like a game I would say. Okay just to be fair, location is perfect. You are in city center and bus station 12 min walk which makes everything easier. And second point to be fair, the ladies in reception was always kind and helpful. That's all.

Rooms are basic but clean and the bed is comfortable. We have been there in August with the family and we had to book 2 rooms with air conditioning (as stated in the website). Unfortunately in one of the two room air conditioning did not work and considering the hot whether in August period this was hardship to bear. I was disappointed because, despite they knew, they did not advise at the time of check in nor arrange to have fans to mitigate the problem . They anyhow provided 2 fans quickly later but our stay was not pleasant as could have been. The position is good as well but I guess all places are ok considering Lubiana is a very small city. The staff is ok even if “customer care” is not one of their strength 😊
