Stayed here for a quick trip to Denver and a couple hours of slots. Hotel seems very clean and the staff is friendly at checkin. When I went to take a shower this morning there was no hot water, called front desk and was informed that hot water was out throughout the whole hotel, they were working on it, but no estimate on time. Asked about refund or discount and was told a manager would call. The on duty manager did call to inform me the manager would be in later and took my number to call me at that time. Decided to sponge bathe, but needed to wash hair so washed hair in ice cold water. Burr! Went to blow dry hair to style and cannot get the cheap wall dryer to work! Tried resetting CFI breaker and the switches on the dryer it's self, etc. with no luck. So now I have cold wet head and need to get going so gather stuff and leave room. Next door is housekeeping, ask them if I can use the dryer in the room they are cleaning just to dry hair. I will add that I have long and very thick hair that stays wet for hours. They said no but they would call maintenance to fix dryer. Just need to get going so tell them don't bother. Go to front desk to check out and complain about dryer and how inconvenient all this is. No offer of a dryer, or apology, just a comment that at least it's not snowing yet? I understand things happen, but just feel they could have offered to comp breakfast or players rewards or something for the inconvenience. Still haven't heard from the manager unless they called while I was on the road and they didn't leave a message? I like to stay in Black Hawk and Central City when I have to go to the city for a few slots and a fresh start to the day in Denver. This was not that!!! Won't be staying at the Century again.
