Hilton Garden Inn Providence Airport/Warwick

We came back to the Hilton Garden for a second time because our first experience was so wonderful. The second visit was just as nice. The staff was so accommodating and so pleasant to everyone! The room was very clean. Ross is our favorite person at the Hilton Garden. He is always friendly and greets us all with a smile. We had dinner at the Iron Works Tavern. We enjoy it there because of the inviting atmosphere. The food is yummy and the kids have fun too! Going swimming in the pool is my kids favorite activity. It is an extra bonus to be able to go swimming in a heated pool during the cold months in New England. We will definetely be returning to the Hilton Garden when we need another get away.

My husband and my three daughters and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn a couple of weeks ago. We stay at this Hotel once a year. We love going to the zoo which is close by. We had an extremely enjoyable stay! The Hotel is always immaculate! When greeted at the front desk, we are always greeted with friendly faces and they are the same staff as the last time we visited a year ago. I believe the gentleman that helped us at the front desk was Ross. He was extremely accommodating and always had a smile :) The room we stayed in was super clean and the beds the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on! Just heavenly! Our girls always love swiming in the pool at the hotel! It is the high light of their stay at the hotel! Breakfast is my high light! The food always delicious and the staff so sweet! It is also the same staff as last year! Says a lot about a place that keeps the same staff on board! Thank you Hilton Garden for yet another wonderful stay! Zero Stars is what this hotel deserves. Rented rooms to families with 80 hockey team players which in itself should not be a problem. 30 Kids were running up and down the 5th floor hall for two hours screaming and laughing and kicking a soccer ball. Hotel front desk was called three times and nothing was done. Called back and the front desk woman said they would check on it. After 20 minutes the woman finally came up and talked to one lady in the hall with 2 kids while further down the hall 50 kids could be heard in one room screaming and laughing. The front desk woman then came to our room and was arguing with me that kids will be kids. I told her that the parents need to manage the kids and have some activities outside a hotel room for them instead of cooping them up in a hotel and then not taking responsibility for their behavior. This is the poorest excuse for hotel management and security I ever saw and I travel for business every week and stay in a Hilton property. My Diamond status meant nothing to the front desk woman or the fact that if some of the kids got injured the hotel would be sued. Just wow. Arguing with a Diamond member to represent 80 noisy kids with irresponsible parents. That's not what I pay Hilton for. Worst hotel management ever but look where it is located, go figure. The only reason we were on the 5th floor is because our 6th floor room was not ready when we tried to check in. Total Loser Hotel. Many better options nearby.

The location is good for airport or local travel. The staff is welcoming, responsive and open for conversation. The hotel is part of a holding company - MCR - which boasts of it "values". It's website focuses on INVESTORS mostly. Hence the rising fees seem designed for REVENUE rather than great customer experience. Parking in a large open self-parking lot is now $12 (free until last year). Breakfast is $17 (or more) BUT Diamond/Gold get $10 credit toward that. (Lesser souls get to pay full price.) The staff report that "all hotels" in the area are raising fees, so we guess that without complaint, the trend will continue. Sadly, I feel taken advantage of even more these days.

Easy and friendly check in. This is an industrial area right next to the airport so there's nowhere really to walk to, there is a wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel for lunch and dinner. The outside of the hotel looks pretty rough there was an area taped off that was supposed to be an outside seating area. You register your car and pay to park. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Small pool and work out area on site. It is easy to turn in your rental car and walk back to the hotel to be ready for an early flight, It seems like many of the flights out of this airport are really early in the morning. There is no shuttle so you have to walk back to the airport and it was raining so I got drenched at 4:00 am headed to the airport. Hotel did have coffee ready in the morning, which was nice, better figure out something to eat before you get to the airport as there are two places for coffee and really long lines, most restaurants at the airport don't open until lots of early flights have departed.
