My room was literally the furthest room from the front desk. The carpet is very padded making the wheels on my luggage not work well. Finally got myself to my room and the key didn’t work. Oh and it was after midnight. Dragged myself and my luggage back to the front desk to explain my key didn’t work. Not even an “I’m so sorry about that.”
When I got into the room it was 85 degrees! Tape over the thermostat. Had to open the windows for an hour (which had no screens) before I could go to sleep at 1:30 am after traveling across country for 15 hours.
I’m pretty durable, but this was not good.

This is the absolute worst experience that I have ever had at a hotel. I was so astounded by the rudeness of the people behind the desk that at first I thought that I must not being hearing property. By the time I was done with my conversation, I was shaking. Back in my room, I booked a room at another hotel for the remaining nights of our stay. Clearly, I will never stay at this hotel again. Unless unavoidable, I will also never again stay at a Choice Hotel. We used to visit Providence more frequently, and often stayed at this hotel. It used to be associated with the top quality Johnson & Wales hotel and restaurant school. While inexperienced, the student hotel staff was always incredibly friendly and attentive. Now it’s the polar opposite. (Note, the person behind the morning was very pleasant. But the damage was done.)

Staff never told us to register car w prkg app when we checked in - couldn't be bothered. Unfriendly and seemed angry to have to work. Hotel pretty run down. Find a another airport hotel - there are several.

The staff was not very informative. The Hotel was doing renovations and that was never mentioned. The bathroom and shower area was extremely small.
