The best *5 hotel around welcome monument of Jakarta. The room was spacious. Hotel facility also great. All staff very helpful.

One of my favorite and regular hotels when visiting Jakarta. Good layout of spacious rooms and very clean. Only drawback on recent stay was due to the room south facing, obnoxious non stop of motorcycle droning noise in the wee hours along the main road will challenge a good night sleep. Be sure to get the right facing room if noise is not your thing for a good night rests.

I had a great time , all staff are super friendly and helpful. The room is big and nice. The location is good, I can just walk to the Grand Indonesia Mall. I have nothing to complaint about. I had a wonderful view at night from my room. Thank you MOJKT

Old but gold, Even though the property is more than 40 years old, but they still maintained everything very well. I booked a deluxe corner monument view, but they upgraded me into urban suite room. One of the downside is the amenities, they dont have a proper amenities for a 5 stars hotel, and considering it’s a mandarin oriental, it could be better than this About breakfast it’s just a simple buffet style, no specialized section for each buffet (eg: asian, western, indian, middle east, etc.). Just a food and dessert section All in all, the price/value is one of the best in Jakarta

Being Mandarin Oriental, the location is almost perfect for staying in Central Jakarta (right opposite Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia), the experience from check-in was great, staff were attentive and professional in every aspect of the stay, the room was spacious, clean, however I was a little puzzled by them only providing one dressing gown (I was staying with my wife). Breakfast buffet at Cinnamon served with Western, Indonesian and some Chinese cuisine, their egg corner was impressive, if they could do egg Benedict that would be even better.

Room is so smelly. Can get into the room on 15.45 which I have to wait for an hour. There is no responsibility from the hotel.

Had an excellent stay. Worth the extra. Cannot fault the hotel in anyway…well maybe the pool is on the small side. Worth to consider if you want the best in Jakarta.

Old hotel, corridors are in need of a refurbishment, the lobby is very small and breakfast was ok. Overall was an ok stay but I would not stay here again as you can also hear all the street noise and traffic at all hours

Helpful and friendly staffs. Room is clean and the turn down service is excellent. Will stay here again.
