Best Western Mangga Dua Hotel and Residence

I stayed in the hotel for 3 days. Room is big and need some work. There is a clean swimming pool. Breakfast is okay, overall it is a comfortable stay.

I had inconvenient experienced here, aircon wasn’t working well, location is difficult to had signal, wifi bad connection, tv wasn’t working at all.

Room was good though the bathroom was unusually small. Good bed, ac, towels. Room service eventually will get the order right. The breakfast is good but lunch was average. The pool is under repair for another month they estimate. The pool is the main reason for the average rating. There should be a way for trip.com to know and tell their customers. No nearby restaurants but Gojek is so cheap it doesn’t matter.  The mosque’s call to prayer at 4:00 AM may be loud enough to bother some people.

Friendly staff, nice hotel, good security, nice breakfast local n western, laundry facilities, near to street food peddlers just outside hotel, avoid using Taxi n Bajai (tuktuk) always use Grab for transport. About 40 mins to Soekarno Hatta hotel, near to Sederhana Padang food, near to Dufan, Monas, Tanah Abang, Block M, all within 6km. Recommended 😊

It's a bit old but I think it's a good choice for traveler who needs a piece full stay. Room is spacious and well maintain. Shower and hot water are great. Breakfast with many choices and I enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. Definitely will come back on next trip to Jakarta.

Large, older, but clean room. There are not enough electric sockets in the room for electronics, some are not working anymore, but otherwise comfortable stay. Train noise is noticeable even from 30th floor and up.

The only thing clean in this hotel was the pool. My room was barely swept let alone actually cleaned by anyone. The windows were dirty, the bathroom was caked in soap scum, under the bed was a forest of dust and trash, the floor was uneven and like water damage af. In fact after being there for a few days I’ve come to the conclusion that this hotel was damaged in an earthquake and left to rot before best western purchased it. The windows were so thin it sounded like I was on street level and not 31 floors up. The sheets where old and tattered with stains and the pillows were lumpy. The couch in a corner that faced a hole in the wall was also weird and by my door had to be slammed just to shut it. And mind you this is the second room after I asked to be moved.

Comfortable bed. Large room. Nice pool. Small gym. Location not much within walking distance. Not impressed with the breakfast
