The hotel is in a good location, close to Independence Square, and it takes less than 20 minutes to walk to Independence Square. However, the facilities are old, the toilet in room 826 does not drain smoothly and cannot be repaired; the window in the room cannot be opened

It is an old hotel with older equipment. People who like retro style can come and experience it. The location is good and you can see the high-rise buildings in South Jakarta. The breakfast is average, but there are too many guests, which makes the dining very crowded. The bathroom toilet is old. , not clean, major shortcomings

We enjoyed the hotel and staff were helpful, good selection at breakfast and excellent cold draught beer at the bar. However when we left we asked the hotel to book a taxi for us to the high speed rail terminal at Halim. When the taxi arrived I asked the doorman to confirm to the driver where we were going. But the driver took us to halim airport not the high speed rail station and drove off before we realised. We then had to take another taxi to the rail station which took 15 minutes and cost the same as the taxi from the hotel. We were frustrated. A bit more attention to the request and conveying that would have saved us stress and expense. Otherwise a good stay.
