Stayed here a night at the end of May. It is a typical Marriott hotel, so you know what to expect. It is also connected to the convention center, so parking and lobby traffic can become a little chaotic at times. But, the service was solid and professional, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you have business in Hartford or are attending a convention or meeting, it's probably the best option in the area.

I always stay here because my daughters go to Trinity College. The hotel is located next to the convention center and science museum. There are not a lot of restaurants near by because the downtown area is in need of revitalization. However, the hotel does have a good restaurant. The lobby appearance has improved with flowers in the entrance check in area and it has looked clearer. The service people have increased in friendliest and hospitality. Although, the gym is chronically dirty as is the concierge area. These areas need to be cleaned more thoroughly- floors mopped, equipment and tables cleaned. Also, the coffee machine in the concierge level is horrible. They need a new one. The coffee tastes like water. I will continue to stay here but wish the above improvements would be made for a perfect stay.

I reserved a room with 2 beds and paid for the room 2 months in advance, when we got there we got a 1 bed room with 2 twin air beds. No space in the room to walk after placing the 2 beds. In addition, when I reserved it’s says free breakfast but at the hotel they said that is only for ambassadors members.

They offer a room with a view of the city or river of you. The city is a view of a giant convention center roof. The pool and the hot tub did not get warm especially the hot tub. It is room temperature in disturbing feeling. Also, you have to pay for parking at least $20 a night and there’s no street parking in the area.

This was our second time staying at the Marriott in downtown Hartford and it was nothing short of amazing. The staff goes above and beyond for their customers, especially Gretchen, whom we found to be a gem! We also had the pleasure of meeting Bjorn and Brittany, who were very helpful and respectful as well. We were also impressed by the cleanliness and food that was served. A+ all around! We are looking forward to returning next time we visit.

The worst place in Hartford ct is here let me tell u workers here will take ur things if u leave it around, workers here do ***** and not a place to bring ur family around including ur kids stay alway from here all worker here have a drug problem u can tell by looking at them coupe of em the fall alseep while at work watch ur plates they don’t clean nothing right and ur water pitchers never washed so if u get sick here blame it on them because it down right nasty here 💯 worst experience by far and never again how do I know well I use to work here so I’ll tell u the the real story
