The location of this hotel is good and safe, but I don’t really like the parking fee of 50 rand per day. There is a shopping mall in the back and it is very convenient to walk there. The room is enough for two people. You can see Table Mountain and the sea from the window. I stayed at the hotel on the first day It is beautiful to see the sunset directly, but the check-in time is 3:00 a.m., we can only put down our luggage at 1:00 a.m. and go out for a walk

The hotel and staff were fine. Nothing to say about that. Nice room and nice amenities. However, I want to warn everyone considering renting a car at "Enterprise " located in the lobby. It is not Enterprise but a franchise called Woodford Car hire. Check those guys out on Trustpilot before renting. I rented a car at Marriott Century City in January 2024. We had full coverage with zero liability and all the other extra options one could choose. In other words, fully covered according to their staff at the site. We had an accident but not to worry said the staff, "Sir you are fully covered". Fast forward a couple of weeks and I get an email from them claiming that due to negligence, I should pay for the repair of the car. Approximately 135,000 ZAR. Basically as if the car was never insured at all! Invoice attached with banking details and please pay soonest. I contested this claim by mail and immediately canceled my card via my bank as I suspected what type of company this was. Unfortunately, due to human error and lax procedures by my bank, they did not close my account connected to that card. Therefore this company could enforce a withdrawal even though the card was canceled and they took approximately 60 000 ZAR. This is theft and fraudulent according to my bank. So word of advice, if you give them your card details, make sure to cancel that card as soon as possible and close the account connected to it as well. And good luck dealing with them. I think it lowers Marriott's standard to accept such a fraudulent company to operate within their property. One get's a false impression of safety.

Poor service and lack of customer focus. Has major issues with Room Service. Wrong order delivered, missing items and staff with bad attitude. Simply rude.
