Very nice place with excellent staff. The building with so much wood is very warm. Excellent experience and close to finca Drácula. Another great experience.

I LOVE this hotel! The second floor has these cozy lounge areas with wooden bookcases full of fantastic books, with fireplaces (which up in the mountains of Cerra Punta is a welcome comfort). Also, there are beautiful wooden ping-poing tables, fooz ball, and very nice chess and checker sets, lots of art everywhere. Several velvet coaches and other very comfy seating. All the while soft classical and jazz music. Wonderful Food! And the staff are so warm and professional. The atmosphere is so magical and inviting!

Los Quetzales Ecolodge in Cerro Punta is truly a magical place 🌿✨ We spent a couple of days here with family and friends, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely surrounded by nature, peace, and fresh mountain air 🌄🍃. The lodge is beautifully integrated into the landscape, with lush gardens, forest views, and a deeply relaxing atmosphere. It’s important to know that some cabins are located inside the national park, which means you’ll need a car and your own food. This is a rustic, wild-nature travel style, perfect for those who love authenticity and simplicity. Be prepared for cool temperatures and occasional rain 🌧️, though we were lucky and had mostly good weather. There are many trails in the area, ideal for exploring waterfalls, forests, and untouched nature. The lodge can also organize guided hikes and special retreats inside the national park, including hiking, yoga, and massages 🧘‍♀️🌿. We were lucky to enjoy an extra activity in a nearby canyon and waterfall, and it was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had in my six years of traveling around the world 🌍💙. They also offer SPA experiences, including mud treatments, hot tubs, body and facial massages 💆‍♀️, which are perfect after a day of hiking. The rooms are cozy and comfortable 🛏️, ideal for cool Cerro Punta nights, and everything feels thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind. Waking up to birds singing 🐦 and greenery all around was pure bliss. The restaurant is excellent 🍽️, serving delicious organic food made with fresh local ingredients, and the strawberries are especially amazing 🍓. The staff is kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming 🤍, which makes the whole experience even more special. This is truly the kind of place where you slow down, disconnect, and fully enjoy the moment 🌱. Perfect for nature lovers, couples, families, or anyone looking for calm, beauty, and authenticity 💫. We left feeling refreshed and would absolutely love to come back.

Staff was amazing, local foods excellent. Perfect location for hiking the vertical farms and bird watching!

Staff was exceptional. The room was very comfortable. Surrounded by beautiful natural landscaping. Quiet. Restful.

Rustic gem in Cerro Punta. If you want to have a true small town experience yet have all the comforts, this is the place. The restaurant and the attached common guest space is the highlight. The staff is super friendly and make you truly feel at home.
