Grand Hotel Da Vinci

I was with a group booking (33 guests) from England. I feel it is a 5 star facility with 3 star service if you are English and in a group. The service we got was well below that offerred to their wealthy Italian guests. On the whole I found their style far too aggressive and they could have softened much of their sharp instructions with more appropriate and hospitable body language. Few hospitality staff speak much English, I found the sommelier was the only mone with any fluency. We were often confused or had a problem and it was difficult to find someone who could understand the issue. Aloso, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone with mobility issues as there is no toilet near the resataurant. The ones that are available (2 locations) are at a distance and include stairs or a rather steep slope. I will never return to this hotel.

Top hotel, lovely room, friendly staff, fine dining, great service !!!

We visited the hotel in September 2025, the room was beautiful in Versace design, excellent cuisine. What I disliked is that the hotel does not have its own parking lot, in the heat with carports or an underground garage. They only have a parking area behind the hotel whose surface is made of white gravel, so it gets incredibly dusty the cars have white tires and the suitcase wheels are messy. If you were to expect some livery at a five-star hotel to help you with your luggage, then by no means. You have to go through the back entrance like a thief and carry everything yourself. The biggest disappointment for us was when the hotel manager told us at lunch that he no longer had the current room for us for the last night and offered us their subsidiary hotel in a city 15 km away as a replacement without the slightest compensation. This is what happened to my colleagues from the other 3 rooms, when some of them, who were on a trip during the day, had their things packed into suitcases, left them at the reception and basically thrown out of the hotel room. They then came to their room unsuspectingly and there were complete strangers there. I will not return to this hotel. They do not respect their clients. It is a disgrace.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, from the amazing reception staff, the stunning pool area,the suite we stayed in was unbelievable for the price , and the town itself is is charming, the staff made us feel so welcome I would highly recommend

The most beautiful hotel and setting, the most comfortable bed, breakfast was truly amazing and the grounds were truly stunning. Staff were super helpful. Lovely rooms and amenities!
