Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa

This Chinese New Year marked our second visit to Hua Hin, and we chose this hotel again. The staff are really friendly, and the slogan at the hotel's breakfast restaurant is quite amusing, haha! The swimming pool is huge, we even compared it to the Marriott's – same size. The Marriott is in the city center but much more expensive, so it's really up to your budget. This time, we even spotted a lizard at the hotel, which shows how great the ecosystem is. If we come back to Hua Hin, we'll definitely consider the Sheraton again.

The hotel has a great resort vibe, and direct pool access is perfect for kids – we loved it! Breakfast was really extensive. You do need to call for a car to get around, but on the plus side, it's very quiet and close to the beach.

The room size is decent and it's quiet. The breakfast fruit was excellent quality. Besides eating at this hotel, you can also walk to the neighboring hotel for meals.

The hotel is generally well-maintained, but the air conditioning in the room was quite noisy. The hotel should at least provide earplugs for the rooms. The outdoor pool is beautiful and fun, with three small loops and one large loop. The purification system is excellent, and the pool water is very clear. However, the pool only operates until 7 PM, which is far too early for a resort. When I booked, the website stated 10 PM, which led to me being asked to leave while swimming. It was a very unpleasant experience. There's a local roadside restaurant near the hotel that we ate at for two consecutive nights; it perfectly satisfied our picky Sichuanese palates.

Good environment, but it's best to come by car.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, with the beach just a few steps down from the property. You can enjoy your meals at the restaurant while admiring the sea view. The rooms are also very spacious. I always stay at this hotel whenever I'm in Thailand for business.
