Brilliant stay at the Boat and Horses !!
Extremely clean room , a huge cosy bed , tea , coffee , biscuits and even hot chocolate supplied each day and such lovely welcoming staff - especially Dale on reception !
Canal view family room was excellent- very roomy and no noise at all !
Restaurant attached to the hotel for a great hearty breakfast that was included in price and lunch and dinner if needed with a great selection of food !!
Would I stay again - absolutely!!

Was very disappointed, wasn't told when breakfast was, shower and toilet didn't work properly. Bed was 2 singles pushed together, walls were marked & not clean, for £100 for the night expected better not silver service but better than we got. Never go there again.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. A cheaper property cancelled last minute & the ******* rep relocated & upgraded me within half hour. The hotel was clean & the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely also. :)

I was pleasantly surprised to find this great place at the last minute. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Bed was really comfy and pillows just to my liking. Bathroom was great and breakfast was just perfect and pkentiful.

Booked 2 nights and very disappointed . The room was very basic and very noisy location . The windows are not soundproofed , so traffic very load. Being on ground floor we heard everyone upstairs even though we were told many empty rooms. Spent over £200 for an experience we will not do again.
