We loved our 4 night stay. The owner Brigitte is very friendly and very helpful. The property is in excellent condition, the room and bathroom comfortable and clean, air conditioned and blackout blinds. The area is residential and very quiet at night so able to have windows open at night if you prefer not to use air conditioning. We sat at the pool every day, there are plenty of sunbeds and we were able to select a sunny position or shade, the pool was great Brigitte was quick to uncover it every day. There are two good restaurants (Italian Pizza/Pasta and French Brasserie) less than 15 minute walk away, very reasonably priced and serve until 22:00. A further 5/10 minute walk into town finds plenty more restaurants to savour.

Nous avons réservé cette chambre pour profiter de la piscine qui devrait être chauffée jusqu'au 30 septembre. Ma réservation validée, j'ai appelé pour avoir certains détails et j'ai appris que la piscine n'était plus chauffée mais que je pouvais en profiter (eau à 20°). Malheureusement, mon offre étant non remboursable je n'ai pas pu annuler. Arrivés sur place, nous avons été surpris par l'environnement et l'éloignement du centre ville 20 à 25mn de marche à bonne allure. L'accueil était parfait, nous avons stationné mon vehicule dans le garage, la chambre conforme (bonne literie), une déco un peu datée mais une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons profité de la piscine (un peu fraîche) et nous avons passé un bon séjour. Le petit déjeuner est varié avec des confitures maisons. Globalement le prix ne me semble pas en cohérence avec la situation et les prestations.

Was disappointed at not being able to use the facilities until 5pm check in time, most hotels you can use them before the room is available. The hotel (house) was lovely and the owner was too. The main problem was that there is no air conditioning in the room even though it is advertised on ********** as having 'climate control air conditioning and heating'. It was hot at night so not much sleep. So even though there is a lovely pool, if you are there for 1 night, check in at 5pm and check out at 11am, there is not much chance to enjoy it

After a stressful journey given Covid regulations from the U.K. we stopped here exhausted. Fabulous welcome from Bridget and her daughter Caroline. The place is bright and modern and our room was spacious. Lovely swimming pool and an excellent breakfast. We were recommended a restaurant for our evening meal which was superb, Great stop.

Accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire, beau jardin. Vu la chaleur du weekend du 15 août nous avons profité de la piscine. Le mas est situé dans la périphérie de Chalon, donc pas très loin d'autant qu'on avait nos vélos. Belle chambre avec tout confort et bon petit déjeuner. En résumé, à recommander. On espère y revenir un jour.

We got a nice welcoming and appreciated that we could arrive a little bit earlier than check in. This old beautiful place/house is situated right outside the city centre in a not so beautiful area with a lot of houses/apartments around. Unfortunately our room had a view directly against a tall apartment building. The room was spacious but interior old fashioned and no condition made the air bad. Very beautiful garden and a large pool with sun beds that we enjoyed during the warm afternoon and the morning after for a swim. Breakfast nothing special but ok.
