We spent one night in this hotel on a tour. It is quite centrally located and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was very large, with many closets. The bathroom had everything a guest could need, from a hairdryer to a shaving set with comb to shampoo and shower gel. The shower worked perfectly and had a rich jet and the temperature was very easy to regulate. The breakfast offered a very large selection of Asian dishes. There were 2 different stations where you could put together a delicious soup with the help of the staff. But baguettes, jam, cheese, muesli and fresh fruit were also available. There was also an extra station where egg dishes were freshly prepared. The only downer was the coffee; it was lukewarm and didn't taste good and the cups were tiny.

I spent two nights here as part of a self-driving road trip. This hotel is a classic Asian-style city-center hotel. Reminds me of my favorite hotel in Bangkok. Yes, it's a bit dated and could use a remodel or at least a coat of paint, but it has that old Asian charm, character, and generous use of wood, that you won't find in modern construction. The room and bathroom were clean enough, and the bedding, pillows, linen, towels, etc. were fine. The air-conditioning, hot water and internet worked fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the hotel do a large load of laundry and it was reasonably priced. There is ample parking for folks who self-drive. I booked through Agoda from the hotel lobby as Agoda's price was slightly lower than the walk-in rate and I wanted to pay for the room by credit card. The price was around $30 USD per night.

Stayed only for one night as it was a quick stop to Battambang. Hotel is pretty dated, like its stuck in the 80s/90s. No power outlets beside the bed. The outlet closest to the bed(on the counter beside the kettle) did not work, I charged my phone in the bathroom, until I found another outlet under the dresser. The airconditioning was abit weak even at the lowest temperature. An old tv with alot of channels but the reception is bad so you're watching shows with alot of static. When it rains(which it did), there's no signal so nothing to watch in the end. Power went out twice. Assumed it was the technician doing work and power tripped. Breakfast was a buffet but average at best. The front desk staff could have been a little more friendlier. Not much smiling. If you just need a place to sleep, this place will do. Otherwise, best to find somewhere else.

Arriving in the lobby area was a bit depressing given the massive wooden figures and the cold and otherwise plain and outdated decoration. Even the path to the rooms aroused anxiety and was reminiscent of a prison or barracks wing. The room was no better, both in terms of furnishings and maintenance. The view out the window rewarded us with a wonderfully noisy air conditioning system. After a long bus ride with our tour group, we were looking forward to a refreshing swim in the pool. Unfortunately there was no water in it, it was filled again overnight, but unfortunately the water found itself in the breakfast room below in the form of a constantly babbling waterfall.

It was good to know how much it would cost if you stole the old tube TV ($90). It was also very nice that when you checked out you checked that you hadn't “forgotten” anything in the room. There was a yellowed and calcified bathtub with a shower curtain.

The hotel looks really good from the outside but the interior is somewhat old and lifeless. The furniture in the room is very dated; had to plug in the lamps on my own before switching them on. The pillow was weird; couldn’t sleep well until I adjusted it a few times. The lobby and lifts were not well-ventilated and were quite hot. Just glad it was a very short stay.
