The design immediately captivated me! The front desk on the 36th floor is incredibly grand, and the lobby incorporates elements from the Yuelu Academy's library, creating a strong scholarly atmosphere. The popular swing chairs are perfect for photos. The guest room was even more delightful! The panoramic floor-toceiling windows offer stunning views of the Xiangjiang River – a gentle breeze during the day and the city's sparkling lights at night, all visible from your room. The smart features are so thoughtful! The whole room is equipped with smart controls; a simple voice command can turn lights on or off and adjust the air conditioning. The electric curtains open with one touch, filling the room with sunlight – truly a godsend for anyone who loves convenience.

The hotel staff were exceptional. From the female duty manager on Monday at noon who happen to be seeing off a guest and saw me and my wife and helped us with our luggage. She was most polite. Female staff DING was exceptional in so many ways. She gave me clear directions so many times with patience and clarity. She also rendered service beyond her call of duty as I saw an item in the ro8om and wanted to purchase it. She liased with the vendor in Shenzhen and arranged for it to be delivered the next day to Shangrila Shenzhen, and updated me.

I'm so grateful to the Yazhi Hotel staff for their excellent service! I chose Yazhi after visiting Changsha for David Tao's concert. Upon getting off the high-speed train, I unexpectedly went to a different branch, over 2 kilometers away. The lobby manager greeted me with a warm welcome drink upon arrival. Later, when I checked in, I realized I'd gone to the wrong branch, and without further ado, she immediately called a taxi back to the hotel. She also made arrangements with the front desk staff, so upon arrival, someone immediately checked me in. The hotel's location is incredible!!! I was only 10 minutes away after the concert! It's no exaggeration to say this was such a blessing considering it was raining heavily in Changsha that day!!! My only suggestion is that the room still has a slight decorating smell. Open the windows more often when there are no guests. I'll definitely choose Yazhi again next time!
