Longemont Taihu Lake Town Hotel

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the balcony was very spacious. The breakfast was plentiful. Even though it was peak summer vacation, it didn't feel chaotic or overcrowded at all. I had expected breakfast to be very crowded with no available seats, but to my surprise, everything was very organized. The fireworks view from the scenic fireworks room was absolutely fantastic – just beautiful!

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, but you can tell the materials used for the renovation back then were top-notch. The cleanliness was also good, which was acceptable for us traveling with a baby. Since our baby is quite young, we brought our own set of sheets, a summer blanket, and a pillow, but the hotel's bedding felt pretty good too. Environment: The room came with a balcony, so the view was incredible. We could see Taihu Lake in the distance. The 27th-floor buffet breakfast restaurant was huge and offered even better views. Service: It was truly too crowded during the summer holiday. The hotel was hosting a lot of guests, which felt a bit overwhelming with people everywhere. However, the convenience was great. From the hotel's underground parking, you just cross a bridge directly to the scenic spot, which was perfect for watching the fireworks and 'Dahuo' (iron flowers) at night. I had requested a quiet room when booking, and they gave us a very quiet room; it wasn't noisy at all.

The hotel is huge, and even with many guests, everything is well-organized. The breakfast is abundant, and my stay was very comfortable. During my 3-day stay, there were shows, a water world, and a circus, making it a spectacular experience for all ages.

The hotel is high-end and luxurious, with a rich breakfast and excellent service. The rooms are clean and hygienic. It's conveniently located near Taihu Show City with easy parking. The view rooms overlook the entire Taihu Show City, making it highly recommended.

When traveling, where you stay is really important. Since we were going to the performance complex and wanted to see the grand circus, we chose this ancient town hotel, as online reviews said it was the best in the area. Our actual experience was decent. For a 1000 RMB room rate that also included the grand circus and performance complex, it was good value for money. The hotel lobby and breakfast restaurant are both incredibly spacious, clearly designed to handle large crowds from the start. The breakfast selection was also extensive, though primarily focused on popular Chinese dishes. Just a side note: being a large hotel comes with its own issues – it's a lot of walking! After leaving the performance complex at night, we accidentally walked to the adjacent Ruifeng hotel and then had to trek quite a distance back. The ancient town view room truly offered a view of the fireworks, which was fantastic.

This hotel is great for visiting the ancient town – unlimited access and it's close by. However, on the day we were leaving, there was a heavy downpour and the hotel shuttle couldn't operate due to flooding, which is understandable. What's not understandable is that no one came out to explain the situation. The customer service agent, Xiao Le, was very dedicated, thumbs up!

The hotel is located right within the Dream of the Dragon resort area, making it very convenient and easy to get to attractions. The little butler's service was very attentive; I could ask them anything and always received a prompt reply.

Our trip was very comfortable and enjoyable. We arrived at the hotel quite early, and the front desk lady saw that there was an available room, so she allowed us to check in. The air conditioning was already turned on in the room, which was a lifesaver during this hot summer. The butler was especially thoughtful, offering various forms of care and helpful tips for our activities throughout our stay! Highly recommended!!!

The environment is great, and the hotel service is excellent. They even called us a day before our arrival to confirm! The hotel is right next to the ancient town, which is perfect for an evening stroll and getting some amazing photos. Our room had a balcony with a view of the mountains, which was lovely. It's a really suitable place to bring kids!
