It was a great experience overall and would stay here again although it was more expensive than I wanted. Wish their breakfast offerings were more extensive and not over priced (compared to local restaurants).

The Hilton Garden Inn, Fairfax typically has been a nice property with good service. This time that was not the case. When we returned to the room late one night, the wastebaskets were full, the bed unmade, there were no coffee pods or cups. It was a surprise to say the least. The next day I learned the hotel has a policy requiring guests to request housekeeping service. Unfortunately , the hotel staff did NOT tell us of the new policy nor was it on conspicuously displayed signage. And apparently the General Manager of the hotel whom I emailed several days ago is either evaluating my message or ignoring it. In fairness to Hilton Hotels corporation this property is owned by a franchisee.

Hottub was cold and jets we weak. Breakfast is not included! And they dont tell you this. The ladies who work in the breakfast area are lovely though. Took a long time to get the hot water flowing for a shower

I am a Hilton Diamond Member and pay more for Hiltons because I get more amenities. I paid more for this property because I wanted to be able to work out every day. But two treadmills and the one elliptical machine were not working. That is completely unacceptable. How does that happen? I provided this feedback and received an email from the GM saying he should have been on top of that. Yes, he should have been. He offered me a free meal on a future visit. That's lame and doesn't make up for the lost workouts. I missed out on workouts and paid a lot of extra money for the fitness center he clearly didn't put any time into. His response actually made it worse. So I encourage you to stay at a different hotel when in the area. If management doesn't really care, then you shouldn't give them your money.

Rooms are renovated and quiet so that was great. But the rooms are dusty. You can tell that they only clean what you can see. Found someone’s credit card on the floor near our bed (that should have been found by cleaning staff). Also visible dust on and under the coffee machine and microwave. Stain on quilt. When I booked online I added the breakfast option, but that didn’t reflect on my reservation. Fine by me because breakfast was $15 pp. A $35 breakfast that is free in other Hilton’s; don’t mind paying if we got something better, but in my opinion it’s not worth it (bagels, scrambled eggs, overcooked bacon, dry oatmeal, some cut up fruit- best part was the coffee. Paid the first day but didn’t bother to eat there again. Didn’t even recommend to my relatives as it wasn’t worth the price. I think they purposely have watery coffee in the lobby at no cost so you can buy a cup at the “breakfast buffett”. The pool was cold and dirty so I didn’t bother using it- visible grime on the floor, cloudy water and you can see hair floating around. Nice outside area to sit as well as a decent sitting area in the lobby. There’s a small shopping plaza across the street which is easy to walk to. Virtual key did not work to open my room door. Staff was pleasant the times I went for help with the room key. Overall 3/5. Didn’t hate it, but wouldn’t stay here again when there’s a better Hilton a few minutes away.

It was , and has always been a fine place to stay Comfortable, friendly folk, and close where we needed to be.
This was the first time we stayed on the lobby level. In this room, the walls were a little thin in that we could hear our neighbors. We stayed in a room that had a connecting door - not sure if that had anything to do with it. Thankfully, when it was time for us to go to sleep - they must have had the same idea because it finally got quiet!
