Chaozhou AncientCity RENJOY Hotel

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! From the outside, it looks completely unremarkable, but once you step inside, you're transported to a beautifully decorated Lingnan-style building from the Republic of China era. The decor is truly unique. The breakfast selection, however, is quite limited, so not much choice there. 😁

The room decor has a vintage Nanyang (Southeast Asian) vibe, and the bedding is good – definitely a boutique hotel. Facilities: The laundry room is a bit basic and could use some improvement. The air conditioning in the room blows directly onto your head. Environment: Although the entrance is small, there's a pleasant surprise inside with a small parking lot and even charging stations. Service: From the front desk ladies to the security guards, everyone greets you with a smile and is always happy to help. The breakfast offers local specialties.

The Chaozhou Yunju Hotel boasts an elegant interior design and spacious rooms. The service is warm and friendly, and the facilities are comprehensive. The breakfast features authentic Chaoshan specialties. With its charming courtyard design, excellent value for money, and convenient location, it's a great choice.

The hotel rooms were fantastic! It felt very Waldorf-Astoria, and both my husband and parents were extremely pleased. I never expected to find such a wonderful hotel in Chaozhou. The service was also great, though perhaps slightly less stellar than the facilities and price would suggest, but that's a minor point.

The hotel is right on the street, and from the outside, it looks quite unassuming. However, once you step inside, it's a completely different world. The lobby and public areas are beautifully designed, perfect for taking photos, and there's even a tea room.

The Chaoshan snacks for breakfast were delicious, the environment was great, and the hotel was good overall.

Don't let the unassuming entrance fool you; this hotel is a pleasant surprise once you step inside. The garden is beautifully designed with great care, and the rooms are well-laid out, clean, and hygienic. The service is attentive, and the breakfast even offers delicious Chaoshan cuisine. There's a path right next to the hotel that leads directly to Guangji Bridge, and just across the bridge is Paifang Street. We walked it once but found it a bit out of the way. Later, we found it much more convenient to take the bus from the hotel entrance to the south end of Paifang Street.

The environment and service are both excellent. They even prepared a fruit plate for my birthday when I checked in, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Coinciding with the weather, we decided to visit Chaozhou on the first day of our trip, which also happened to be my mother-in-law's birthday and our wedding anniversary. From the outside, this hotel is incredibly unassuming, but the moment you step into the hallway, it's a pleasant surprise. I never expected a Jinjiang Group hotel to be so novel and high-quality. When I mentioned I wanted a high-floor room and that both our rooms needed to be on the same floor, a front desk lady incredibly patiently helped us arrange it. Her service attitude made us feel truly welcomed. Both the tissues and the bedding in the rooms were clearly of good quality. If we ever come back to Chaozhou, this hotel will definitely be our first choice.
