Homeinn Selected Hotel (Chaozhou Ancient City Paifang Street)

Great location and a very clean room. I accidentally left some clothes behind when checking out, and the hotel staff kindly mailed them back to me. So thoughtful! ❤️

The hotel's location is super convenient, very close to the ancient city. Plus, there are tons of eateries right outside, and you can easily rent electric scooters with a quick scan of a QR code. Scooters are a must-have in the ancient city; they help you reach your destination quickly and save your legs! The hotel service was also excellent; since it was off-season, I was able to check in early, even though I arrived in the morning.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, and there's a laundry service at the front desk. The location is excellent.

The room offered both soft and firm pillows, which was a thoughtful touch. It was very clean, though the shower area felt a bit cramped. Breakfast had a great variety, including fried dough sticks, douhua (tofu pudding), fried rice, small cakes, smashed cucumber salad, and several vegetable dishes. The taste was good, and you could even ask the staff to cook noodles individually for you.

The room isn't huge but it's very new and clean, with great amenities. The location is right at the intersection of Kaiyuan Road. For a busy area, it's surprisingly quiet here. The breakfast was delicious too, with lots of meat in the guofen (rice noodles). The two guys working the night shift on the 17th and 18th had absolutely excellent service!

True to its name, this Paifang Street branch boasts an unbeatable location. You can easily walk to Kaiyuan Temple, Paifang Street, and Guangji Bridge. Plus, there's a KFC right next door and countless restaurants around, so you'll have no trouble trying all sorts of Chaozhou snacks. The breakfast was high-quality, and freshly ground coffee was available at all times. The bedding was clean and comfortable. A thoroughly satisfying stay!
