Chaozhou Moxiang Wanglu Chinese Inn (Chaozhou Ancient City Paifang Street)

Perfect choice to stay in this authentic Teochew homestay. The owner who runs the 10-rooms home stay is a genuinely kind and helpful man. His warm hospitality makes us feel so comfortable staying in a foreign place. He's simple and hardworking. He offered us freshly brewed tea and local fresh fruits. The location is strategic as it's only 5 minutes walk to the famous Guanji bridge and PaiFang / Archway Street. It is located inside the ancient city and getting your way to the home stay is easy using Amap app. The room is spacious,with high ceiling and clean. We walked about 12 minutes or so to the South Gate to take a public bus #K2 / #105 to the Chao Zhou High speed train station. The bus fare was 9 yuan per person. Owners were really nice and the hotel provides a traditional feel. There is an inner courtyard that is open during the morning you feel refreshed seeing the blue sky and in the evening it is peaceful and quiet. Washer available. Just a 2 minute walk from the pedestrian street. Would stay again!

what a wonderful delicate Southern China's style 'square house'. CLEAN AND NEAT. The bathroom is very clean. it's quiet in the morning that u could.hear the birds singing in the roof. Very close to the temple uand the city.wall. Only 5 mins walk from most of the attraction. The room rate is a great bargain. Plenty of food stalls nearby.

Perfect location in the center of the old town, close to the Guangji Bridge and other monuments, walking distance to everywhere. Situated on a narrow side street, it's quiet and away from cacophony of Paifang Street. The Inn is well maintained, despite some wear and tear, and the room was clean, and spacious with high ceilings. The bed mattress is hard as often the case in China. The courtyard building structure is charming. Our host invited to have Chaozhou Gong Fu Cha together with another guest, when we came back from our dinner, super cool! We don't speak Chinese much, but the host was helpful and gracious.

The hotel is pleasant and have the 'local feel'. We like the location very much, it is in a small alley where we had good breakfast in a little shop that sells delicious Cheong Fun and beef/fish balls noodles. It is less than 10 minutes walk to Guangji Bridge, we went to the bridge 3 times in our 3D2N stay. As it is walking distance to the Pai Fang Street and adjoining area, we enjoyed quite a variety of food and had all our meals there.
