⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay in Chaozhou
We had a fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside and honestly wished we could have stayed longer.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Check-in was smooth, questions were answered quickly, and throughout our stay the service remained warm and attentive without ever feeling forced. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes a hotel memorable.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after long days exploring Chaozhou, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We also appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the room, including complimentary soft drinks in the minibar, bottled water, bathrobes, quality tea and coffee facilities, and plenty of storage space.
The river view was another highlight. Waking up and looking out over the Han River and the city skyline was a wonderful way to start the day. The room felt peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. Everything felt well maintained and cared for, from the guest room to the common areas.
What impressed us most was how the staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable. Great facilities are important, but outstanding service is what truly sets a hotel apart, and this team delivered exactly that.
If you’re visiting Chaozhou and looking for a comfortable hotel with excellent service, beautiful river views, and a relaxing atmosphere, I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside.

This is my second stay at the Crowne Plaza, and it's a fantastic hotel—clean and refreshing. It truly stands out in Chaozhou. This time, the account manager, Dave, provided excellent and friendly service. I chose a lavender pillow last night, and I slept wonderfully. The breakfast included handmade Kway Teow soup, rice noodle rolls (肠粉), and congee (生滚粥), which perfectly met my expectations for a Chaozhou breakfast. The river view room is absolutely stunning, both day and night. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and will be back again.

The front desk staff, especially the ladies, and the gentlemen outside in the lobby, were all incredibly helpful. Every time our car arrived or departed, they were quick to assist us with our luggage or open the doors. The restaurant's food was also excellent, with a rich variety of fresh ingredients. Our room had a fantastic view; we were lucky enough to catch the Guangji Bridge light show right from our window. Even the kids in our group said the hotel was great, absolutely perfect!

This is probably the best hotel in Chaozhou. The location is excellent, not far from the ancient city, but there's ongoing construction downstairs, which makes it quite noisy!
**Facilities:** The room facilities are complete and well-laid out, with electric curtains. The toilet, however, was a bit lacking – an old-fashioned model! The mini-bar was complimentary! The river-view room offered expansive views, taking in all the beautiful scenery! The lobby felt a bit small and modest. The air conditioning was super powerful with excellent airflow! The bed was massive and very comfortable! A minor disappointment was the lack of a full-length mirror.
**Service:** The concierge staff specifically brought our luggage to the room and even recommended local eateries! They also helped our friends upgrade their room type! We arrived around noon, and they allowed us to check in early.
Ordering takeout was very convenient; a robot delivered it right to the room!
**Hygiene:** This was a bit average. There were still hairs from previous guests on the sofa, and there were stains in the sink and toilet!
There's plenty of parking, which is very convenient for those driving.
**Breakfast:** The variety was somewhat limited, but it looked clean and hygienic, and the seating was spacious and not crowded.
