Hyatt House Charleston/Mount Pleasant

This hotel is a hidden jewel. Customer service was on point each time you entered. The hot breakfast is just that, not continental. The food is also good. Would highly recommend.

We chose to stay outside of Charleston proper and were very glad we did. The access to Charleson is very simple, and the variety of restaurants and services in the Mt Pleasant area was very available. The noise level was near zero, making for restful sleeping!

This was our second time staying at this Hyatt with our dogs and it was excellent. Our room had everything we needed, staff was friendly and accommodating, and the free breakfast was great! Thank you Hyatt!

Great hotel, free and safe parking are huge perks. Never had a moment's issue with anything and every single member of the staff we've ever interacted with has been amazing

We stayed at this property rather than paying twice as much to stay in downtown Charleston. This property is in an area surrounded by housing and some commercial buildings but it's not at all noisy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, which is most important to us. The toiletries provided in the room consisted of soap, shampoo, and conditioner...that's it. However, additional items are available for the asking at the front desk (I was able to get body lotion and a shower cap). The room had a mini fridge, but no complimentary bottled water. There was, however, a coffee maker and coffee in the room. We were scheduled for housekeeping services every other day; however, we never received any housekeeping services. Not a big deal as long as we have fresh towels (which we also had to pick up at the front desk), but if you promise a service, then it should be delivered. Free breakfast is provided with all the usual items. A nice addition was made-to-order omelets. There is no restaurant or bar on the property so you'll need to get in your car for a bite to eat, but there are many food options just 5 minutes by car. There is a small exercise room with various machines which looked clean and tidy. The pool area was also tidy but nothing fancy and no umbrellas for shade. This property was suitable for our needs as we were out site seeing during the day, but if you're looking for a property with a lot of amenities, you may want to look elsewhere.

I was very impressed with the hotel, staff, accommodations and in particular the location was very convenient for all my needs, food, leisure and business. It was a very well kept and quiet room. I’ll stay again!!

Room was a bit smaller than some other hotel brands but was clean. Breakfast was not as hot as it should have been...omelets tepid, tater tots cool. We ended up going out for breakfast after the first day. Staff was very friendly though and the hotel was modern.
