We had a wonderful stay at Christmas time. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Check in was easy, we were offered a$20 upgrade for our room, which we accepted and we enjoyed our 3 nights in a suite- lovely!
The courtyard was also decorated and the outdoor fireplace was always blazing. We liked having a glass of wine in the evening. We also loved “The Den” bar!
The pizza was yummy! Such a cool experience- we will definitely stay here next time we are in Charleston!

Location was great, rooms were big, hotel was beautiful. The rooms were a little dark but overall experience was good! Love the location! And valet staff was excellent!

Hotel great was great other than our room - room 135, unbelievable noise. One wall is shared with back of a bar. Constant noises from bottles being moved, jarred, barstools scraping across the floor. Outside/courtyard wall has restaurant and one evening, a jazz band (you can’t make this stuff up) which was all of four feet from our window.

Really nice, clean property with very nice and comfortable rooms. I didn't take advantage of the social aspect in the evenings, but it seemed like it was being enjoyed by all who were there. The breakfast I did have was very good, but the service was slow.
The checking-in and out process was easy and very pleasant and I appreciated the room upgrade.
Nice area. Just a block away from a main thoroughfare, but secluded enough for it to be relatively quiete. Great restaurants very close by.
I will certainly stay there again. Highly recommend it. It is a steal compared to other high-end hotels nearby.

The walls are extremely thin, so we could hear the folks in the room next door as well as we would have if they had been in our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the location of the hotel and its accessibility to shopping, the historic district and restaurants. The staff were professional, upbeat, and pleasant. The hotel was well maintained and clean. We plan to come back to the Emeline, when we return to Charleston.
