Warrego Motel

Guy and Maree do everything to make your stay comfortable. They even greeted us with very welcome cups of coffee! The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds comfortable and the shower which is fed with treated artesian water is hot, soft and powerful. We arrived via Train from Brisbane and the Motel is literally across the road from the Charleville Train Station.

What a wonderful place to stay. Guy and Maree you are the perfect hosts.. The meet and Greet you put on was fantastic. Let us met our neighbours for the next 4 nights.. having our washing done (Guy you are a machine) and driving us to local events.. just a wonderful experience. The unit was clean and cosy and had all the little touches.. Thanks you two. Hopefully will be back x

This was our second stay within 8 weeks, this time we were in the Motel room (#1), it was very comfortable and clean. Our bed was the best, so comfortable and plenty of linen and extra pillows. This motel is the first one you see as you arrive in Charleville from the Warrego Hwy and right opposite the tourist centre/railway station. We walked to RSL for dinner and it was less than a 10min comfortable walk. We highly recommend this Motel and Gary (owner) was very friendly and helpful nothing was to much to ask for.

Myself, Hubby & friends stayed one night is the front cabins facing the Hwy and we were next to each other. We found the owner Gary to be helpful & friendly, our cabins were perfect for us. We found them to be clean, the beds were so comfortable, plenty of pillows & blankets (as it was the middle of winter). Showers were to dye for, so hot and the water pressure was excellent. Very handy to all the local attractions, town centre is walking distance, fuel is next door & RSL isn’t that far away. The kitchenette was great, we were there for only one night so only really used that area for making coffees. I cannot fault it, would definitely stay here again and definitely would recommend to anyone passing through.

The room was reasonably small and seemed dark, even with the lights on. The floor of the bathroom got quite wet while showering. On the positive side, the bed was extremely comfortable, as was the lounge. The free WiFi worked well - also through the smart TV.

The motel is your basic budget-style establishment that is convenient to certain activities in the area, but is very poorly maintained and in dire need of a good old fashioned clean-up. The rooms are not well lit, and the mattresses and pillows have seen much better days.

We were two couples who stayed in two cabins for three days. The cabins are comfortable, well-appointed and centrally located. The hosts are friendly and helpful. They attended to a couple of minor issues very quickly. We would happily stay there again. Unfortunately since NBN arrived the premises have been a black spot for reception but the owners are spending a lot of money to try to fix the problem.

Lovely little town. The motel was very clean, rooms small even though they match the motel code of size. I found the bed too low and uncomfortable. Had to run very hot water on my back to get moving. Glad it had a couch but it was broken and also not really comfortable either. Bed furnishings and towels fine. Would probably look for an upgrade if I went back
