Nice place- but my room NEVER got maid service and I had to fetch my own clean towels. They must charge extra for hot water-- since there was none in this shower-- despite calling the hotel's attention to it twice. I first tried to CALL reception but... the phone had no dial tone. Reception just said, "I only do the beach towels"... and never even recorded my complaint. Second try got as shrug and "I'll file for maintenance." Food was on par but you will wait forever for it to find you.
Bottom line- on my "never again" list because of the ABSENCE of service and lack of basics (like a warm shower- or maid service). On a scale of 100 Emerald Beach gets a 15 for location (after a small deduction for airplane noise (the runway id literally at the foot of the property) and zeros for facility overall and service. Find another place to stay.

This property was very dated, and not well maintained. It has beautiful view/water front, and is close to the airport, but really needs to be updated.

This place is run down, and way understaffed! There was no food onsite due to low staffing. This is why we picked this resort. The rooms are very dated. There was hammering and construction happening in the next room the entire time we were there. So disappointed and the response from the management was oh well, we were understaffed. Not good enough.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport and was an easy 15min walk with roller bags. As mentioned in other reviews, some aspects of the room are a little dated but nothing that impacted our stay. It is a beautiful beach and pool. The restaurant was good. The bar was open late and we got 2 for 1 coupons when we checked in. There is the noise of airplanes taking off but it is intermittent and ends by late afternoon. Would stay again.

This property is on a beautiful and quiet beach. That said the service was not even two star by our standards.
Restaurant and bar staff need an lesson in customer service. Every time we went to the restaurant or bar it took forever to be greeted and twice we were not provided menus when seated and then attitude from the staff when we had no idea what to order without menus.
I’m my good comment was for the location.

Staff are unfortunately very rude. Checkin process they make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. They tried to double charge me for my room and said "sorry, we must have hit it twice". Food was not as they advertised. I would recommend staying away. Not a pleasant experience.

Great location close to airport beautiful beach and great food plenty of beach chairs Walked out of my room and walked straight to the beach area Rooms are nice beds are comfortable too!
