The old style hotel was a pleasure to visit. The old wooden room door lead to a very comfortable room with modern amenities, especially in the bathroom.

Hotel is maybe a 2 star... in need of updating. Beds were terribly uncomfortable and heating_cooling system loud. I would choose another hotel next time.

The Grand Dame hotel in Charlottetown, awash in character great value and a stunning ball room. Walking distance to everywhere in Charlottetown, good parking, a pool in the basement with a real deep end. Excellent staff a cool little lounge, good restaurant. 5 Stars every time.

We were put on a floor with 2 sports teams. There was eating, laughing and running the halls right outside our door. We asked the Front desk to speak with them but no one came. We had to speak to them ourselves. It did quiet down some but still alot of talking outside our door. Not happy with our visit.

I had a pleasant three night stay at the hotel. My room was clean, housekeeping and check-in staff were polite and responsive. I also enjoyed a bowl of beef and barley soup and baked haddock at the restaurant. Older style furnishing and yet updated bathroom and bed. A fully satisfactory hotel for December in Charlottetown.

Clean, if a little shabby and worn around the edges. Uncomfortable sofa in the room, old and worn. No outlets next to the bed and limited outlets overall. Fast internet.
Breakfast was expensive and very basic, ready made fried potatoes, mediocre coffee. Very friendly staff though.
Free ample parking. Overall decent value for money, avoid the breakfast there are good local options within walking distance.
