I booked through an online travel service and needed to cancel the reservation for different dates. The online travel service would not cancel and rebook the dates I needed. Dale Daniel the Front Office Manager rebooked my rooms and went above and beyond for my family and I. He also checked on us throughout our stay to make sure all went well. It was BlueCross Bowl Weekend (football championship games) and the Chattanooga Marriott has always been busy during this time. Thanks again to Dale and all the Chattanooga Marriott Staff for outstanding customer service!!!

Facility connected to the Convention Center, so very convenient for that purpose. Room was small, but clean and in excellent condition. Due to several large group meetings/events starting Friday night, and the fact that check in was not available until 4PM, there was extremely long time was to check in. Staff friendly, but front desk just not prepared for the 4:00 o'clock rush. Valet staff very helpful and I found the Bonvoy chat function extremely useful! The Lobby bar was overwhelmed Friday night, but that is explained above. 2nd floor restaurant has great Belgium waffles, friendly staff. Good visit.

Hotel staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. In town for event at convention center and you could not beat the convenience of walking to and from INSIDE while the weather was cold and rainy for those driving in from other hotels!

Bed was comfortable. Every room (except our guest room) was very cold, Even the conference center. The lobby bar was just too cold to eat lunch or have a cocktail. It was cold outside, so maybe they just didn't want to heat the big facility. Also, they were jack-hammering the from and back entrances and it was loud and awkward. They didn't plan this very well during a conference.

Stayed here 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Staff, food, parking, bar, fitness room, and room were outstanding. Very close to everything in Chattanooga including restaurants and UTC. The GM Jay Raynor is first class and made our stay very enjoyable.

Being the official Convention Center hotel, we expected a great experience at the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown. But it was just so-so. The most concerning thing was the lack of security. Floors were supposed to be accessible only if you waved your room key In from of a monitor in the elevator. But, instead, all floors were open whether you had a key or not. Dead flowers were on tables in the restaurant both days of our stay, which is a small thing but might indicate lack of attention to detail on part of management. We’ll stay elsewhere on our next trip to Chattanooga.

we assumed when we clicked on 2 beds that they would be queen size. They were full beds. THey were tiny. This is the only hotel I've ever been to that doesn't have queen beds. Never again.
