It was somewhat disappointing given the $400+ for Friday night. There is a “continental breakfast” with coffee and dry, hard scones. There is not even cream for coffee, just Coffee Mate. We left the hotel to find actual breakfast. Valet parking was $24 a night. The first valet walked over to us while we were standing in front of the hotel. He cleared his throat and then spit his phlegm on the road about 4 feet away from us.

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel where each room is styled differently. The bed was comfortable , the room was meticulously clean, had a prvt balcony, and high end amenities were offered. The front desk went over and beyond to be incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful stay and would return without hesitation. The only suggestion I could add is that the rooms provided a mini fridge and microwave or had easier access to ice. The only way to get ice is through the front desk which is burdensome because I didn’t want to bother them frequently to refill my ice bucket. It is not a budget hotel so having a mini-fridge or guest accessible ice machine would be a bonus. Lastly there was free overnight parking nearby so options are available in addition to valet parking.

Just turned 21 went out with some friends our first stop was matilda midnight. Ben at the front desk gave us a tour of the rooms which are so amazing and unique. He was so friendly and helpful. He gave us a list of places to try next. Will be staying here in the future!

What a fantastic find! This cool boutique hotel, right off the main drag in downtown Chattanooga, had everything I was looking for. They upgraded me to the New Yorker suite, and all I can say is wow! What a stunning, mid century, modern decor. In particular, Carol at the front desk was quite helpful and professional. And Kenny the valet, suggested that I leave my bags at the door so I could make it to dinner before closing time. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area.

Great Little Hotel tucked downtown- classic retro design and furniture vibe throughout the property. Cozy cocktail bar off lobby. Greeted by friendly and professional staff.

Room was gifted to me by family due to my 22yr old daughter in Chattanooga ER from fatal head on collision. But my card was asked for upon check in as per usual. Got a random $13.xx charge. Dealing with my daughter I don't have time or energy to call. All I did was use bath salts that left on the tub tray (not on the stand of stuff for sale) Mind you it was the size of a tiny Visine bottle. So BEWARE!!! I'd never stay again. Parking sucks. Noisy stairs and floors. 3rd floor is quiet but then your beside all of the AC units. Room 34 pics.

Cute old hotel. Small boutique. Very 1960-70 vide decor. Hotel bar was great and within walking distance to Downtown Chattanooga. Biggest fiddle fig trees I have ever seen. We had a great time and would stay there again. My only complaint would be no USB built in chargers in the room - only a limited number of plug-in outlets due to the age of the hotel. Meter parking on the street was limited or you could pay to park at the hotel.

We loved the overall atmosphere at the hotel. The original wooden floors and banisters, along with the antiques and retro decor made if feel like we were stepping back in time. Our only disappointment was the balcony in our room. We assumed all balconies had a view, and while some do have a view of the city, the Dandelion room has a balcony with a screen above the railing to obstruct the unattractive view of the roof next door. We should have inquired about this more directly, but we will know for next time.

Where do I start….? The lobby, the welcoming staff (Ben), the room - the colors, the furniture, the art on the walls, that friggin’ amaze-BALLS bathroom, my cute balcony and last but certainly not least, the fireplace….yup, a fireplace…..!! I got upgraded from the Autumn Room to the Tropicana Room…..thank you, very much…!! The Dwell is a boutique hotel in a very unassuming building in downtown Chattanooga. The interior is everything but assuming. The open brick walls, the unique furniture pieces, fixtures and the art adorning the walls ALL are feasts for the eyes…!! Everything is colorful with a touch of whimsy and/or fancy. My continental breakfast was delicious; the blueberry scone was um, ummm great….!! Harrison, at the front desk, was a font of valuable historical and current information. He was insightful, intuitive and very funny. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Dwell if you love different, chic and lovely….!!
