The Hidden House (Cheng Du Kuanzhai Alley People's Park Subway Station Branch)

There are several Hidden Retreat Hotels in Chengdu, and this time I chose the Hidden Retreat Aesthetic Life Courtyard Hotel near Renmin Park subway station. Firstly, I liked its convenient location with subway access, being close to Kuanzhai Alley, Renmin Park, and also very near the Chengdu Museum. Secondly, I was drawn to its Chinese-style decor. I booked a suite with a courtyard this time, which was spacious and even had a bathtub. The hotel offers butler service, and during my stay, I enjoyed executive privileges, including exquisite afternoon tea after a midday nap. For those interested, you can also wear the Hanfu provided by the hotel for free and take photos around the property. The breakfast offers four set menus, which are quite generous, including eggs, milk, coffee, congee/noodles, pastries, and fruits. The chef was very thoughtful; knowing I have high blood sugar and don't eat noodles, they specially swapped it out for 'chaoshou' (wontons). The front desk also has a 'treasure chest' providing free fans, wet wipes, nail clippers, masks, band-aids, cotton swabs, sanitary pads, and more. They even offer a complimentary luggage delivery service, which is incredibly thoughtful. Plus, there are adorable panda candies that kids absolutely love.

The courtyard was lovely, and the room was comfy too! They even upgraded us. In such a prime downtown location, having a private parking area is a lifesaver for anyone traveling by car! And the breakfast was a wonderful surprise! They made three different dishes for the three of us, which I absolutely loved!!! So delicious!! If you're visiting the Kuanzhai Alley area, you absolutely have to stay here!

The Yinqitang Aesthetic Life Courtyard store, located near Renmin Park subway station, offers convenient transportation to Kuanzhai Alley, Renmin Park, and the Art Museum. There are also many dining options nearby. The room was quiet, clean, and decorated in a Chinese style, featuring a small courtyard and a bathtub. The air conditioning was powerful, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, a smart toilet, and a shower with great water pressure. Staying in the Qiyue Courtyard Suite granted access to executive privileges, including an exquisite afternoon tea and luggage delivery service to the high-speed rail/airport/next destination. Guests could also experience wearing Hanfu. The front desk even provided sunscreen spray, fans, lotion, and band-aids. The mini-fridge in the room had complimentary drinks. The hotel staff were polite and friendly. My stay this time was very pleasant!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The room was a bit small but cozy. Breakfast was very generous (a little too much, couldn't finish it all, haha!), and the little courtyard downstairs was delightful!

The room was very satisfying, I'm extremely pleased, and it's definitely worth recommending 👍

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped, and the service is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip!

The hotel's location is excellent, just under a 10-minute walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel even has its own private restaurant. The breakfast was delicious, just like a home-cooked meal. The hotel has a well-designed environment with a private courtyard where you can park or enjoy some tea. There's also a laundry room on the top floor with space to hang clothes. The service was warm and attentive, and the hygiene was excellent. They even provided disposable toilet seat covers and a foot soak tub (which I unfortunately didn't get a chance to use this time). Overall, it felt as cozy and comfortable as staying at home. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.
