Golden Age hotel

The hotel is great and well-equipped. The ambiance is lovely and very comfortable. The service is attentive, with snacks and welcome fruits provided. The front desk staff are all wonderful; they even came out with umbrellas to see us off when it was raining heavily. Overall, it was a good experience. It's a warm hotel with a lively, human touch. Wishing them all the best!

The hotel's location is excellent, situated within a century-old building. I made a mistake with my booking dates, but the hotel was very accommodating and quickly helped me change my check-in time. Their service was great! They reached out via WeChat beforehand to inform me that, due to being an old building, there's no elevator, but they offered to help with my luggage. I really appreciated their honesty about this. The housekeepers (all women) were very strong and carried my bags for me. From check-in to carrying my luggage and showing me to my room, they provided smiling service throughout. I truly recommend this place; their service completely makes up for the lack of an elevator.

The location is excellent, just a 6-7 minute walk from the metro station. They offer a fantastic afternoon tea daily, and breakfast is served individually, with coffee included. Overall, a very satisfying experience!

Our stay was fantastic! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. It was a really great experience. A special shout-out to the male concierge who lent us his personal umbrella when ours was too bulky to carry – that was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. The female concierge at the front desk also made sure to check on our dining preferences every day. The hotel's decor is very tasteful. The only minor inconvenience is that the road leading to the entrance is one-way, so occasionally we had to walk a short distance to the main road to catch a taxi.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road, making it super convenient for shopping and late-night snacks. Even though it's in the bustling city center, the standalone building has excellent soundproofing. Once you close your room door, it's incredibly quiet; you can't hear any street noise at all. The decor has a retro French Republic era style, with a spiral staircase and arched corridors that create a wonderful ambiance. The common areas are perfect for taking photos. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no issues regarding hygiene. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too hard—and the toiletries were high quality. The bathing facilities were a highlight; taking a bath after a day of exploring was incredibly relaxing. The front desk staff were very kind and handled check-in quickly. They were also very responsive to any questions. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, so you don't have to rush downstairs, which makes for a more relaxed pace. The rooftop terrace offers a stunning view of the city lights in the evening. This place avoids the generic feel of a chain hotel; both the design and privacy are top-notch. I highly recommend it if you're staying near Chunxi Road, and I'll definitely prioritize booking here again next time I'm in Chengdu.

Looking for a quiet and stylish hotel in the city center? This is it! Chunxi Road is right downstairs, and it's a 2-minute walk to IFS and the Panda Wall. The room was super comfortable, and I could even see Chunxi Road from the balcony. It was so convenient for shopping and ordering takeout! The room was spotless, and the hotel's common areas were perfect for photos – every shot looked great! The staff were incredibly thoughtful; they reached out beforehand to offer help with luggage, and there was even afternoon tea upon check-in.

This hotel really makes you feel special; the decor is incredibly tasteful. Both the public areas and the rooms are beautiful, it's a shame I didn't take more photos this time. The location is excellent. You can take the airport shuttle to Chunxi Road station and the hotel is just a few steps away. It's also very close to IFS and Taikoo Li. The hotel service is wonderful, it genuinely feels like a home away from home. I'll definitely choose Guixiang again on my next trip to Chengdu.
