Hotel manager was friendly and laid back, which gave a relaxed guesthouse feeling. However, when I asked for a drink from the extensive cocktail menu, I was told that she didn’t know how to make any of the drinks. I asked if I could make my own, to which she agreed; an out of date bottle of whiskey and a bottle of cola from the floor was my only option. At check out, to my surprise, I was charged 48 yuan for this out of date drink that I had to make myself. The hotel itself was a little run down and in need of a deep clean and a little refurbishment in places. Bed not comfortable, AC in room not powerful enough to really warm the room up. Wouldn’t recommend.

It was my first time to Huanglongxi and I chose to stay in this B&B. The experience was very good! The room was clean and tidy. The space was relatively large. The location was quiet in a busy area. I lived on the third floor. There was a swing. The atmosphere was pretty good. The service of the young lady in the store was super good. There were also cute kittens. There were many snacks and coffee on the first floor, which was very convenient. The photos in the room were super photogenic.
