The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our room window was overlooking some noisy construction on the street, but the soundproofing was very effective. Breakfast buffet is the best we had in Chinese hotels, and so is the late night porridge snack. The staff was very helpful and kind to us. They helped us immediately with various questions. Near the hotel are Caotang North Road metro station, a very fine restaurant Chen Mapo Tofu, and Songxianqiao - antiques market. My most sincere recommendations!

To be fair, this hotel is at a disadvantage right now. Rail construction right in front of the entrance makes getting in and out, and finding the hotel a problem. The hotel is currently renovating their breakfast buffet, so it severely limited their amenities. It made sitting in the lobby/reading area unbearable with noise. It looked as if they may be completing the work within one week though. However, the hotel staff went above and beyond to help order and deliver breakfast to your room from McDonald's or KFC, though options for food were limited. This is nestled in the Du Fu area and is within close proximity of other suburbs that you can easily commute to via bicycle, electric scooters, cabs and the metro. The room itself is spacious, clean and away from the noisy streets. The service received was also great.
