Lyhn International Hotel Chengdu Taikoo Li

My stay at the Chengdu Lynn International Hotel truly exceeded my expectations. I originally booked it for its convenient location near IFS and Taikoo Li, but from the moment I stepped into the lobby, the experience was far better than I anticipated. First, what impressed me most was the environment and ambiance. The hotel's exterior is modern and simple, but the interior cleverly incorporates elements of Shu culture. The public areas are adorned with panda plushies and various art pieces, creating a quiet yet stylish atmosphere. Our room, located on a non-smoking floor, was spacious and bright. The bedding was soft and dry, the curtains provided excellent blackout, and the soundproofing was very effective. I have to specifically praise the staff's service. From the front desk to the room attendants, everyone greeted us with a smile and was eager to help. Their genuine and unforced enthusiasm made us feel very comfortable. The biggest bonus of this stay was the complimentary lacquer fan making activity offered by the hotel. In the afternoon, a teacher in the lobby patiently guided the children in mixing lacquer and painting fan surfaces. I initially thought it would be a casual activity, but the finished products turned out to be surprisingly elegant and traditional. Once dry, they carried a subtle lacquer scent, making for a unique souvenir and a perfect cooling accessory for subsequent days of sightseeing – fanning ourselves with our handmade fans while strolling through Taikoo Li definitely got us some admiring glances. Equally heartwarming was the complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in. It was peak summer, and after a full day of sightseeing, we were hot. Returning to the hotel, we enjoyed afternoon tea and pastries, complete with chilled 'Bingfen' (ice jelly) and 'Guilinggao' (herbal jelly) along with thoughtful toppings. The hotel's attentiveness truly earned a perfect score from me. Finally, the location is absolutely 'top-notch.' An 8-minute walk to the left leads directly to IFS, with that famous climbing panda practically at your doorstep.

Choosing Lynn International Hotel for my trip to Chengdu was an excellent decision! The location is superb; it's just a few minutes' walk to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, making shopping, dining, and getting around incredibly convenient. The lobby has elegant decor with a Sichuan-style charm, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is excellent, offering high-floor views of the city streets. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the complimentary gym and self-service laundry were very practical. Staying here saved me time and ensured a comfortable trip. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu.

The intangible cultural heritage lacquer fan experience was very meaningful, allowing me to enjoy the fun of traditional craftsmanship. The complimentary laundry service was efficient and hassle-free, and the staff were meticulous, attentive, and genuinely kind. The overall environment was comfortable and tranquil. I will definitely prioritize this hotel for future trips and wholeheartedly recommend it!

The hotel environment is great, and housekeeping is very prompt. The location is relatively good, only about a 10-minute walk from Chunxi Road and the nearest subway station. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, so I've attached a few photos from Wuhou Temple instead.

Stayed for 4 nights in a family suite. The room was relatively clean and quiet. The front desk staff were very polite. They offer self-service laundry and dry cleaning. The auntie at the 5th-floor restaurant was very enthusiastic, and the spicy chicken was incredibly authentic. It's only a 10-minute walk to the Taikoo Li shopping area, which is very convenient. The kids' club was closed during our stay, so we couldn't use the childcare service. We didn't bring our own stroller because the hotel provides them, but their strollers aren't foldable, making them inconvenient to take out. Overall, it was a great stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the free laundry room – it's incredibly convenient. You don't have to pack a ton of clothes, and it's perfect for emergency washes since it also has a dryer. The location is great too; you can walk to restaurants and shops in just a few minutes. Plus, the front desk offers luggage storage. All in all, for the price, it's pretty good value for money! 👍
