Sheraton Hotels in Chengdu

Went to Chengdu with my parents for the Dragon Boat Festival, and since we didn't want to drive, we took the high-speed train. So, I booked a hotel close to the metro station. The Sheraton Chengdu Lido perfectly fit the bill; it's just about 20 meters from Metro Line 1 – super convenient! We booked an executive room, and when we checked in that afternoon, the Executive Lounge was serving a decent light meal, and the white wine was particularly good. The room wasn't huge, but the mattress was really comfortable, and the service was great. Most importantly, it offered excellent value for money. Definitely a recommended hotel!

We spent two nights in the Hotel, and we enjoyed the drones’ show at the Jingrong lake. Spectacular. I added some pictures. The food is not good in general. Particularly the noodles in the lobby. This restaurant doesn't have a good chef, mainly a sub-chef, and the food used to be old or cold. really not good. We are not going there to eat again. The lobby Bar and Coffee has excellent pastries and other products like drinks well prepared. They offer at the breakfast standard food, regular like other places in Chengdu, but the salon at the 5th floor is very crowded, and the cleanness of the tables and floor needs more attention. The best part of the Hotel is the Gym, the swimming pool and the Sauna. The Sauna is clean, comfortable, with a cold shower outside, to people who wants to follow an in-out ritual, really this is a magnific detail. Again, the Gym is excellent with high quality equipment’s, and the view of the Lake is a good stimulus to make more exercises. We want to repeat this experience more often and buy a membership only for the Gym plus swimming pool. Other good thing is the quality of the Shampoo, Conditioner and Body milk.
