I love staying here when I come this way. I feel safe and comfortable here. The cost is reasonable and the hotel rooms are comfortable

Staff was not helpful and hard to reach

Property could use a good remodeling. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Downside there was an inch gap under the front door that let in cold air and who knows what else. The electric socket in the bathroom would not reset and was useless and we never could connect to their internet as it would never allow the password to be entered.

The Baymont by Wyndham in Cheraw, SC is an viable option when you’re on a budget. 💵This location is about 30mi away from Darlington SC if you happen to be in town for a race weekend. 🏎️ The beds were really comfortable and I slept well. I checked in around 7pm with no issues. The lobby had a very bad odor upon walking in that night but by the morning it was gone. I accidentally locked my keys in the room as I was leaving and easily got another at the lobby. The lobby area had 2 bench seats, a sitting area with a TV, but it wasn’t on since no one was in there. There’s also an area listed as a ‘business center’ but all I saw were brown boxes. They have free WiFi that worked without any hiccups. The breakfast area was bright with natural light, inviting and very clean. I think I saw a child booster seat as well. There were Belgian waffles to make, scrambled eggs, sausage, hard boiled eggs, Hostess cakes (Twinkies, Ding-Dongs, etc.), yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, sliced bread and bagels to toast. Coffee comes out of a machine so I was not holding my breath on the taste but I was very surprised. The coffee ☕️ was so good I had two cups! They had actual Splenda and individual Vanilla flavored and plain International Delight creamer to compliment it. I almost forgot about cereal, oa**eal and grits packets as well. The room (#120) had two doubles, 🛏️clean fridge/freezer shelf combo and a clean microwave. There was a wall hair dryer and the water was hot in a few seconds even on this 17 degree morning. The wall temperature unit had our room nice and toasty, I was happy. 😌 Overall, I give this place a 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️. I was not looking for luxury and wanted to see what budget accommodations are for my clients. My score comes down to the smell in the lobby at night (very off putting), no actual business center (WiFi was good though), a little bit of standing water in my tub due to warping, and the big street sign was not lit at night. If I didn’t know where I was going I definitely could have missed this location.

No get staff was new did not know how to check people in. Place was empty but said had no 1st floor rooms. Day shift was very unfriendly . I will not stay again rooms had no paper or pen no tv channel lineups only got 10 channels no local news so no weather no bibles it has a bed tv fridge microwave towels to soap and water

Always great to stay there and they have a REAL breakfast, not just a couple of muffins.

Everything was clean and looked newly painted; however, there were a number of issues that didn’t live up to my expectations of the Wyndham name ( granted my experience is with the Wyndham resorts rather than hotels/motels). There were cracks in the wall, upholstery coming off of the only chair in the room, and the bathroom was tiny where you had to reach back around your shoulder to reach the toilet paper.
