Kutmadan Resort

Very remote location with know views. Bangladesh border is seen only. Nothing special. It is overhyped property. Vibes are not pleasant. Scary types. Rooms have spider webs. We had suite room even then it was not clean..Brekafast was cold and burnt..tea was also not good. We asked 2 times for tea .still....Language issues also..only 1 person knew english.gyeser was not working in bathroom .bringing the hot water bucket as alternative also took very long time. AND moreover no phone network . Thank god we booked only for 1 night there

Situated at the topmost part of the mountain amazing view during the day with mountains and Bangladesh and during the night with milkyway. Evan the caretaker took great efforts with food, housekeeping and even with bonfire. Very cozy cottage room , you can have breakfast in the garden

This property has awesome serenity and the best view of the Bangladesh plains from the hotel. This property is situated just at the edge of a cliff. Depending on the season, clouds can be almost a perennial companion in this hotel. This property have 3 cottages with 6 rooms. The hotel offers great homely food. The place is very close to all the must visit waterfalls of Sohra. A special mention to the friendliness and ever helping attitude of Fedrick.

We stayed here for 2 Nights in Feb 2021. We reached here late in the evening after our double decker bridge hike. We were exhausted and hungy. The moment we reached, we were shown to our rooms and fussed about endlesssly. A warm fire was started in the fireplace (gorgeous), hot food orders taken immediately and he asked us to have a hot water bath and he would send the food directly over to the room so we could rest. It felt so good to be taken care of like that and we knew we had the right place. The rooms are clean and have all the necessary amenities, the fireplace is just wonderful The breakfast was great and the view - amazing. The 2nd day as well we were out hiking till evening. When we came back to the resort, there was a large group who seemed to be there for some sort of a photo shoot. It was BBQ night and we were served some lovely pork. The portion was very limited though and when requested for more, we were refused. I guess it was to do with the large numbers. The food that we ordered was great as usual - hot and tasty The group stayed up till late in the night and there was music and singing. With the open space all around, the sound really echoes. However, we were at the far end, and though the noise could be heard, our exhaustion meant we went off to sleep I would highly recommend Kutmadan for its lovely, warm people and setting ***** with the piping hot food

This Resort location and outside View is very good but the rooms are not clean and well maintained . I have to ask the staff to clean the Fan as it was having too much dust accumulated . Food service takes a lot of time when the number people are around 15 .We will have to wait for min 2 hrs after ordering Dinner .Breakfast have very less options and they take too much time to prepare it .Staff is good and polite but will need more support during peak seasons when the Resort is fully occupied

The resort location is breathtaking. The view from the cliff is just mesmerizing. The property is maintained well and clean room. The rooms are rustic and gives that antique feel. The food also here was quite good. The staff are very accommodating and specially Fredrick was very helpful and smilingly attended to our requirements.

This property may have been good sometime ago but the first appearance of the room is one where the paint in the room is peeling and plaster cracking with smashed insect stains to be seen . Door handles of cupboard , bathroom either dirty or cracked. The bed was creaking and mattress lumpy. Even the bedsheets were frayed. No stock of tea bags , milk powder given at time of check in . It looked liked the room was not kept ready and just given out to the next occupant. There is no provision of intercom and mobile connection so for every requirement one has to walk to the reception from your cottage which becomes a challenge in torrential rain. Room size is very small.It is not at all located near any of the sightseeing locations. Food quantity is good but pricing is way high. The only thing going for this place is the location which is scenic .

We started our trip from sohra, very beautiful place w.r.t sceneric beauty and all , rooms are cozy bed is queen sized so if have a big family like ours you will need extra mattress, breakfast options were limited , rest food amd all were fine

The stay in Kutmadan from 5th November to 7th Nov. was very good. Fredrick was so welcoming and hospitable. The rooms were comfortable and cosy. Food was excellent. I would definitely be recommending this resort.
