Peak Edge Hotel

We stayed here on our wedding night. Could not fault any part of it. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and staff were very helpful and helpful.

We got married here in May 2024 and our day was beyond perfect! From our first meeting with Laura we knew this place was going to be incredible. Laura and the team are always on hand for any questions or advice you may need throughout the planning process. Our day from start to finish was honestly the best day ever. All staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to help. It’s an incredible place to visit for a special event, food or just a drink and take in the views. Thank you to everyone again for giving us a lifetime of memories xx

Myself and Blanc Occassion’s organised a Charity Event on the 20th June 2024 for charity. We had a 2 course meal and afternoon tea in the Walton room. The staff especially Francine were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and the day ran like clockwork. Thank you so much. Lynn Jones

The hotel was excellent with the star being Kristina on reception who was so helpful & friendly every time we saw her. The restaurant attached was also excellent, with very helpful & friendly staff too. If we’re in the area again, we will stay here.

Had an absolutely delightful stay. We wanted to visit Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall and, since we weren't prepared to drive in the UK, we needed a hotel within taxi proximity to both. We discovered the Peak Edge through online research, and it proved perfect to our needs. It was quiet and peaceful amidst the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, the room was great, the attached Red Lion Restaurant had excellent breakfasts (including the unexpected treat of delicious fresh-made pancakes, complete with real maple syrup) and quality dinners, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Indeed, they made all our taxi reservations, not just for our sightseeing excursions but also from and to the Chesterfield train station and for a dinner out in nearby Matlock. But perhaps the best example of their willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate us was when we told them we had some aroma allergy issues they agreed to shut off their scent diffuser in the lobby and public areas for the entire duration of our stay. We so enjoyed our stay at the Peak Edge and would so love to go back, that we are already exploring possible sights we might have missed (Hardwick Hall?) that would justify a return visit.

We had an amazing overnight stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The staff at the Peak Edge Hotel made me feel very welcome and they were very professional in the way they performed their duties.

Super expensive, just be careful and ask for the prices of things i.e Salmon (POA) and drinks etc before ordering. We didn't ask and it was around £32 which was ridiculous. Kids drinks and soft drinks were also super expensive. Nice surroundings though.
