The location is super convenient and its easy to get around and explore. The bathroom was so big and the vibes were just great. Everything felt comfy and chill

We wanted to like this hotel. It probably used to be a nice hotel back in the days. But unfortunately, the hotel has not been maintained well. My husband saw a big rat as he was going to the general hotel bathroom (not the bedroom bathroom) while we were waiting for our room. We were also shocked to find out that the hotel didn't provide any hand soap. The hotel just wasn't very clean overall. The windows are small and they face the hallway so there's no privacy and no natural light coming in. The AC was leaking constantly and we couldn't sleep well because of the very loud constant noise outside the room.

The vibe was really amazing, privacy is great, the admisnistrators are friendly.

Arrived at the hotel and the initial lobby was beautiful. When we arrive the staff were friendly and welcoming. I was taken to my room which was very unclean and had built up limescale all over the bathroom and had an awful smell. The room itself was as not clean and the towel all had dirty stains on them as if they hadn’t been changed over. I reported to reception who said it wasn’t dirty and it was the matter of it needing “fresh paint” and the smell was from the bad weather. I had said that for a 4 star hotel this was not acceptable and the smell hasn’t been an issue in any other hotel. There was dust collected, hairs everywhere and overall dirty. In the second room there even looked to be s*** on the wall. I was then given another room which at first look seemed better, b it ended up being no better at all. I was made to feel uncomfortable for complaining by the staff as he was very rude, and he was insisting that the hotel was old and that the only reason it was in that state. (The hotel would be perfectly fine and wouldn’t need a refurb if it was just maintained and cleaned properly- the rustic feel would be desirable if it wasn’t dirty). The pool also looked very pleasing at first sight but when I looked further it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was rotting leaves in the pool and missing tiles and very sharp edges. The tiles that were missing were left on the edge of the pool broken. I had tried to find a different hotel to stay in but there wasn’t anything available for the dates I was there and had already arranged my excursions from this hotel. Additionally, when I requested a refund the hotel denied it, despite my complaints and the staff himself telling me “if I don’t like the hotel to go to a different one”. Also there is no privacy in the rooms whatsoever. Due to all the rooms in a”cul-de-sac” style layout everyone could see into the rooms- and the walk way to get to the rooms means you have to walk past other rooms and can look into all of the rooms. This meant you have to keep all the curtains closed if you want privacy making the room dark and dingy. For the rest of my stay the staff didn’t speak to me or my husband as if they held a grudge because of my complaint. Will not be going again, and struggle to understand the high demand for this hotel.

Hotel is rather neglected. Could he better but it seems management it continuously changing.
