"It looks like a new building. Everything is clean and we love the working or dining space by the lobby. There are also microwavable foods available although there's a mini big c right in front of it. The only downside is side is the location because it's a little too far from the center, but for the price, the place is too nice!!"

"Location-wise, it's a bit disappointing, but if you want a quiet and clean hotel, I recommend it. There are two convenience stores and a noodle shop nearby for a quick meal or snack. If you want breakfast, you should take this into consideration. Restaurants around the hotel open after 9 AM. The hotel asked for a deposit, so I gave it to them, but they didn't give me any money when I checked out, and they asked me to sign first, so there was a bit of a fight. The Wi-Fi kept changing, but it was good. I don't recommend the coffee shop next to the hotel. The owner seemed to be the building. The ice is 90% and the coffee is 10%. You have to wait for the ice to melt before drinking it. Otherwise, the coffee disappears in one sip. On top of that, coffee is more expensive than in Korea."

"Close to Wat Huay Pla Kang, Lalitta Cafe and Blue Temple :) also quiet and a beautiful park next to the hotel!!! It’s a spacious place and I enjoyed the pool and gym. Overall ok, they found improve the gym equipment. The only problem I had there was the staff members from the reception, very unprofessional!"

"Near to night market,clock tower. Have many food stall nearby. Friendly staff, very clean room. If they add kettle in the room it will be good to make noodles/ coffee/ tea."

"Our room for three was very large and very clean. Good, secure car park. The location is in a student area about 10 minutes drive to the north of Chiang Rai, you'd need your own transport to stay here. There is food and 7-11 nearby. The value for money was excellent, we stayed three nights. However on checkout we had a problem with reception claiming we had caused a depression in the cheap sofa in our room. It was like that when we checked in. This is a good value hotel, I would stay here again, but I recommend showing any problems with the room to reception immediately on check in. We've stayed in many B2s all over Thailand and this was the first time to have trouble at checkout. Eventually the reception staff accepted that the sofa was old and like that when we arrived."

"The Heritage's location is good. It's not as close to the Night Bazaar as other Chiang Rai hotels we've stayed in but is on the main Highway #1 and a short drive from that area, and it is very convenient — almost walking distance, and a 1-2 minute drive on the Highway 1 service lane to Central Plaza, which has excellent shopping and eating options. The hotel has nicely designed, spacious rooms with the best shower we've experienced in a local hotel. There is a very attractive, well maintained pool with a fitness center adjacent to it with modern Life Fitness gear and assorted free weights (though I missed being able to use a lat pulldown). A pleasant young staff member was functioning as kind of a combined pool attendant and fitness trainer, and overall the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was not included in out room rate, but it was worth paying extra for, as it was one of the better breakfast buffets we've had in Chiang Rai, a city we visit often, as we live in the next province to the south."

"We had a great experience at this hotel. It's new and extremely clean. Free water is available anytime, and in the morning you can enjoy complimentary coffee and biscuits. The hotel offers access to both a swimming pool and gym. You can even wash and dry your clothes on-site. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The room is spacious with very comfortable beds. We found it quiet despite being right next to the street. Our only observation would be some small bugs in the bathroom, likely from the water or plumbing system. If we return to Chiang Rai, we'll definitely choose the same hotel again."

"Pros - staff are friendly and the location is superb. The hotel is old but charming, with wooden floors and oak panelling. It has a personality and is the opposite of bland. I’ll definitely go back. My room was quiet and they have a pool. Cons - there are 3. The first is that I was given a connecting room but as a solo traveler I felt a bit uncomfortable. As I was only staying one night I didn’t ask to change. Second - the wifi is really poor. I mean, it’s VERY slow Third- I’m A vegetarian and all they haave is omelette. The buffet is mostly meaty. Need more variety. But all in all I loved the hotel and will go back."

"I had a very nice stay in a family-like accommodation. The staff was very kind and helpful. A 20-minute walk from the city center was a daily routine. Besides this, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, a good base to start your trips. Thank you"
