Alishan Shermuh International Tourist Hotel

Walkable from Alishan Station. I stayed for one night. There's no elevator, but they'll help with heavy luggage. The room felt a bit small. A fridge and water dispenser are located on the first floor. [Shower, Toilet] The shower's temperature, water pressure, and hot water volume were all good. However, if many rooms are showering at the same time, the temperature and water volume can fluctuate. The toilet and shower are in the same room but separated, so the toilet doesn't get wet. There's limited space on the vanity for toiletries, but there's a hook to hang a travel pouch. [Breakfast] Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant, which was a Chinese buffet. [Other] Bath towels provided. Hair dryer available. Shuttle bus to Alishan Station departs at 11:30 AM; advance booking required. Luggage storage available.

Excellent service and spotlessly clean. I'll definitely stay here again. If I ever organize another event, I'll recommend Alishan Sacred Tree Hotel to my friends so they can experience this wonderful accommodation and friendly staff too! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Are all hotel rooms in Alishan small? This 10-something square meter room definitely isn't worth the price. There's no heating or air conditioning in the room. I saw vents and a central control system, but they weren't on? This wasn't mentioned when booking. After I booked, I received an email saying they don't have AC. It got a bit cold in the middle of the night, and they wanted an extra 200 for an additional blanket after I checked in. Is it normal to charge extra for basic comfort like staying warm? And a major issue: the hotel doesn't have an elevator. I saw a guest staying on the fifth floor struggling terribly with their luggage.

The service was exceptional! On the day my girlfriend and I were checking out, we wanted to spend a bit more time exploring Alishan National Scenic Area before catching our train down the mountain. Before we even had a chance to ask, the staff at the front desk proactively offered to deliver our luggage directly to the train station, saving us the trip back to the hotel. This level of service was incredibly thoughtful! The hotel's shuttle arrived at the station at 11:30 AM, just as we were returning from exploring Zhaoping Park. We were able to board our 11:50 AM train down the mountain effortlessly. We're truly grateful for the hotel staff's incredible help!

The guesthouse is close to Alishan Tourist Center and the train station, a 5-10 minute walk to the Forest Recreation Area, so the location is excellent! The bedding and pillows were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was arranged at another restaurant, which was perfect after watching the sunrise and exploring the park – a full and satisfying meal.
