We were scheduled to stay at another hotel (through Trip.com) which ended up being closed down. Rather than simply refund our money, Trip.com was VERY helpful and offered to secure another place for us, at their own expense. SO, we ended up at Hacienda Chichen. I have no words for it. The most serene, other-worldly, back to nature, classy, historic place I think I have ever visited. Exquisite is the best word for it. The grounds, the rooms, the pool, the food; it was truly a SANCTUARY. If you want a place to completely restore your soul and sense, choose Hacienda Chichen. Nothing else compares.

The hotel is beautifully set with gorgeous gardens with lots of wild life and a great pool. The cabins were somewhat inadequate, the bathroom was very compact, the supply of bottled water was minimal [inadequate] and the air conditioning seriously struggled to cool the room and make it comfortable. We had a very good dinner but we found there was too little choice on the breakfast menu. There is a nice boutique selling locally produced items which are great for gifts and are very reasonably priced.

this is an enchanting little hotel for people who want early access to the ruins. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room is comfortable.

This is a wonderful hotel, located on the beautiful grounds of a historic hacienda. Truly lovely.
HOWEVER -- be aware that the rear (eastern) entrance to Chichen-Itza is currently and I believe indefinitely closed (as of January 2024). As a result, you *cannot* walk to the site from the hotel -- it's an 8-minute drive on the highway back around to the main entrance. That's not the end of the world, but it does detract from what would otherwise be one of the primary attractions of the hotel. The hotel website states this clearly, but alas I didn't read that before coming.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were comfortable. The food provided by the hotel restaurant was delicious and affordable as well.

A very pleasant oasis after a hot day's touring at Chichen Itza. Just an overnight stay for us, but we found it very comfortable, and had an excellent dinner in the evening. The pool area is very pleasant indeed, and we found the staff to be responsive and friendly. We were quite surprised by some the reviewers' comments on here. One member was particularly helpful on the morning of our (early) departure, chasing up our missing taxi, and ensuring we had our promised packed breakfasts.
