The hotel was nice and staff was nice but my room smelled bad and the nightstand was very dirty

Hi, I think I paid way too much for this Hotel. $190 a night. The hotel has construction going on. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and was not impressed. The room was very dark, and sad looking. The Heat/AC unit was very noisy. The Shower soap dispenser was empty. The front desk didn't know what the pool temperature was. There was a lot of trash in the parking lot and around the building. Coffe is bad.

Alonzo was the man who checked us in and he was fabulous! So helpful. We were there with our two daughters and their families and he made sure we were all in rooms near each other , we really appreciated his helpfulness.

It was good. Elevator was scary covered in blankets and tape … toilet had ring around it inside. Bed was comfortable & ok. Breakfast was good. Hotel was nice overall and service was efficient and pleasant.
