My room smelled like smoke. It’s supposed to be non smoking. The hall floor was filthy. The back door was broken. Just not well taken care esp for a new hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. Our first room was extremely noisy being roadside. But we were able to change to a much quieter room that was comfortable and spacious. Good breafast and helpful staff.

This was a last minute stay because we were evacuated from our first hotel due to smoke from the Texas fire. We arrived in Childress along with many others who were evacuated from their homes. The desk was was handled by a very calm, efficient man who I think may have been the manager. I have never stayed at a Best Western so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was large and immaculate. In our 7 nights of traveling this was one of the best. The little freezer in our refrigerator actually worked. I suspect the hotel was full but when I went to breakfast the dining area was clean and we were still able to find something to eat. I can’t praise the staff enough for how they handled themselves under pressure.
